Zeftabrook tops Wellington Brook Showcase
A mere two races into her career, Zeftabrook may have the sufficient experience needed to win the $120,000 Wellington Boot Showcase at 5 1/2 furlongs at Wellington Racecourse in Australia.
The race has a post time of 2:35 a.m. Eastern on Sunday, or 11:35 p.m. Pacific on Saturday. There are four Australian programs late Saturday and early Sunday. Wagering is available at DRFBets.com.

The Wellington Boot is the top race at the countryside track in New South Wales and drew a field of 14 Southern Hemisphere 2-year-olds, with three runners on the also-eligible list.
There are four winners in the entries – Hybrid Theory, Pee Dee, Ursula and Zeftabrook.
Zeftabrook, a Hinchinbrook filly trained by Kris Lees, was third in her debut at 4 1/2 furlongs at Newcastle in November and won her first start of 2020 in the Starmaker Handicap at five furlongs at Muswellbrook Race Club, north of Sydney, on March 22. She has raced as a stalker in her two starts.
Pee Dee, a winner of 2 of 4 starts, was second in the nine-runner Starmaker Handicap, beaten 3 1/4 lengths. A gelding, Pee Dee won consecutive races in minor handicaps in January and February at Scone Racing Club.
Hybrid Theory is taking a notable drop in class, having finished ninth in the Group 3 Magic Night Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at six furlongs at Rosehill Gardens on March 14. Hybrid Theory led throughout her debut at 5 1/2 furlongs at Bathurst in February.
The first-time starter Macroura, who breaks from post 15, may attract betting attention. She won a training race, known in Australia as a barrier trial, on March 20 by three-quarters of a length.
