Zee Oh Six wins Silver Goblin Stakes

Zee Oh Six was a neck winner over favorite Herecomesthemannow in the $40,000 Silver Goblin Stakes at Remington Park on Saturday night. It was another length and a half back in third to Notable Okie.

Zee Oh Six ($7.80) overtook Tonight Rainbow after an opening quarter in 21.68 seconds, and went on to lead the field through a half-mile in 43.95 seconds. The eventual winner maintained his lead through the stretch, and completed the six and a half furlongs for Oklahoma-breds in 1:15.

Cliff Berry rode the winner for trainer Joe Lucas.

Zee Oh Six races for John and Barbara Smicklas and has now won seven of 33 starts and $254,295.
