Yourdreamsormine goes for third straight in Thursday sprint

Yourdreamsormine, who has been no worse than second since Milton Wolfson took over his training in the spring, will be going for the hat trick in an optional $62,500 claiming race at Gulfstream Park on Thursday.
We’re All Set, who beat Yourdreamsormine in the $75,000 Sea of Grass Stakes on June 26, looks like the main threat in the seven-furlong sprint for 3-year-olds and up, which drew eight horses.
In his first start for Wolfson on May 13, Yourdreamsormine easily handled We’re All Set in the $75,000 Bull Gator Stakes. Next out, he was squeezed back early in the $75,000 Parrot Key and finished second to Requite. Yourdreamsormine probably would have won the Sea of Grass with a clean trip, but after breaking from the rail in the 6 1/2-furlong dash, he had a hard time finding running room until midstretch. Once clear, he closed with a rush to miss by a half-length.
The 4-year-old Yourdreamsormine won an optional claimer two starts back and came from a stalking position to win the $75,000 Groomstick Stakes on Aug. 27. He should get a similar trip Thursday from post 4 with leading rider Tyler Gaffalione retaining the mount.
We’re All Set, trained by Peter Walder, rallied late to win the Sea of Grass and set the pace before finishing second to Yourdreamsormine in a one-mile, $62,500 optional-claiming race in his last start Aug. 5. Edgard Zayas rides We’re All Set from the outside post.
Grand Bili will try to win for the first time since taking the Grade 3 Carry Back as a 3-year-old last year. He hasn’t raced in six months.
