You Will Love Me takes Classy 'N Smart

ETOBICOKE, Ontario - You Will Love Me ($17.90) captured the $126,200 Classy 'N Smart Stakes in her first start under Chantal Sutherland on Wednesday night at Woodbine.

You Will Love Me raced in second until the far turn, and closed along the rail in the stretch. She overhauled favored Authenicat at the 70-yard pole en route to a 1 3/4-length tally, in a time of 1:45.52.

Authenicat held second, and Nicki Knew came on the scene late to finish another head back in third in the eight-horse field of Ontario-sired females. Santina d'Or was scratched.

"She was very comfortable where she was," said Sutherland. "I've seen her run many times, and she never gives up. It was all her. I was very impressed."

You Will Love Me, trained by Earl Barnett, collected $75,000 for owner/breeder Bill Jones.
