Yonkers: Well-supported Pick 5 hit after two-card carryover

$178,998 of new money flooded into the Pick 5 at Yonkers Raceway on Tuesday night (September 14) as horseplayers flocked to the two-card carryover of $41,168.32 in the pool.

Two post eight winners during the sequence spiced up the potential for another carryover, and there was one horse uncovered in the final leg, along with two that would have given one ticket the entire pool. However, it would be 7-5 favorite Larry Lincoln N who prevailed to cap off the Pick 5 in race nine, resulting in a five-out-of-five payout of $4,389.25.

While the Pick 5 was solved, the Pick 6 was elusive, and there will be a carryover of $1,965.20 in that bet on Wednesday night's (September 15) card at Yonkers. The 11-race program gets underway at 7:15 p.m.
