(1) PROJECT ROCK took the pocket route on his way to victory at Monticello last time around; can score again from the rail. (3) YAMAKA is clearly knocking at the door; big threat. (5) SPANISH ART put in a sharp qualifier here last week; watch out.
Race 2
(2) JOE JOE JOE has a good resume in 2017, gets Tetrick and this pacer can handle the Yonkers oval; the pick. (6) AMERICANFIREWATER has been quite good in his last five tries; main danger. (4) HEAVENS STORM could have a say with these.
Race 3
(7) LITTLE JOKE was late on the scene to grab the show spot last out and this she seems to be heading in the right direction; gets the call. (4) SHE SAID could not get to the top two last time out but she figures in here. (5) SCARLET N SILK just missed glory by a half length recently.
Race 4
(1) COLONIAL ROAD Veteran gets serious post relief and should more speed; can take this at his best. (3) DYNAMITE DUDE A is another with the luck of the draw and should be a factor in here. (2) THAT MAN OF MINE could make some noise with the right trip.
Race 5
(3) CULTURAL PARADISE just couldn't get to the winner in his latest but he is very consistent and with a well judged drive, he can greet the cameraman for pictures. (6) BENJIS BEST is on a roll scoring his second straight victory; the main danger. (2) GEEZ JOE is knocking at the door based on his last two trips.
Race 6
(4) UFFIZI makes his return to Yonkers where this colt has a fondness for; all systems go for him to get back into the winner's circle. (3) OUTKAST BLUE CHIP made a great recovery after he broke in deep stretch to miss the victory by a 1/2 length upstate; threat. (2) AMERICAS FLEET raced evenly to grab third money in his last try.
Race 7
(2) IN A SINGLE BOUND was sent down the road in his recent start at Monticello for win honors; can repeat against these. (5) MUSIC IS ART should do better if given a favorable trip. (3) OUTRAJUS BLUE CHIP was second best in his last try.
Race 8
(4) CHEYENNE OXE gets a better post tonight and has every right to put it all together. (1) DANCINGWITHDELIGHT has the rail and some early zip; player. (3) SUPER S YZERMAN will need a better trip than in his last trip; possible.
Race 9
(3) JK PATRIOT is back at Yonkers where this pacer has done his best running; at his best he can boss these. (2) TRIPLE SEELSTER game effort for the victory at Philly last out. (4) BARRYS SHELBY just missed the score by 3/4 length; watch out.
Race 10
(3) JUSTIFIED moves to the 3-hole and that might be what he needs to make an impact here; capable. (1) DOUBLE YOUR BET was a game second last out and now the gelding draws the fence; big factor. (5) AMERICAN ISLAND closed well to nail down the placing last out.
Race 11
(2) LO HOLD A MOONBEAN leaves door number eight and she has every right to get back into the swing of things. (5) DEUCES FOR CHARITY was sharp in her latest so that might be an indication she is ready to move forward. (4) AMERICANGIRLFRIEND just missed glory at Pocono by a neck; not out of this.
Race 12
(8) A BETTOR HAT gets class relief and the gelding has tactical speed to overcome the 8-hole; worth a play for win honors. (6) GRAND MASTER was sitting in the pocket most of the way but lost the score by a nose recently; dangerous. (7) SIR MACHALOT rallied well but could not get to the top pair in his recent trip to the post; watch out.
