(2) BOOGIEWOOGIEBRIAN Easy score in his latest and he stays in same condition; primed for the repeat. (5) IM THE REAL MAJOR Gelding gets some class relief; factor. (8) PLAY FOR GOLD flashed good speed at his Canada headquarters last time around; could land a share.
Race 2
(2) PIG HUNT Trotting mare moves down the ladder and gets a cozy post; can get the job done with a favorable trip. (3) I C CAVIAR is another that gets class plus post relief and Bartlett is back in the sulky; player. (4) O U SEXY GUY did put in a mild bid for fourth money recently.
Race 3
(2) ZIGGY SKY raced evenly in his last start; he is zero for 17 this year but he catches a weak group and Brennan had other options; gets the call. (6) PAN OF STEEL moves down in class and that might help his cause. (3) URBANA BAYAMA could have a say with the right trip.
Race 4
(5) HEADFORTHEBEACH seems to be knocking at the door and has the tactical speed to take these to task. (2) DINNER GUEST was sharp for the place spot last time out. (4) LUKES COWBOY should fare much better from the 4-hole; maybe.
Race 5
(1) SURE FIRED BET draws a much better post and Bartlett keeps the faith; the pick. (4) BET TOGETHER rallied nicely for the show spot recently; big threat. (3) BIG CITY JEWEL just missed glory by a length; watch out.
Race 6
(7) MUSCLE VILLE Sophomore closed well last time out so he seems to be heading in the right direction; poised to boss these. (2) UKNOW WHAT TO DO showed good speed in his latest and figures to be a big threat against these. (5) EARL VARIERA put in a sharp qualifier at Philly last week; don't overlook.
Race 7
(5) GLAMORGAL showed signs of life last time out. She has gotten the job done 6 times this year so this mare has every right to put her best foot forward. (9) COOL DESIRE is knocking at the door based on her last two trips to the post. (2) LYRA will need a better trip to contend; possible.
Race 8
(3) AMERICAN ISLAND has put in two sharp efforts in a row so he is good enough to greet the cameraman for pictures. (4) TEMPSTER HANOVER Gelding came outside to get up for win honors recently. (6) ANNUITY Sharp for the victory in his last try; post hurts tonight but he is capable.
Race 9
(4) CHAXIRAXI HANOVER was dull in her Philly finale but now she moves right back to Yonkers where she has had much success; the pick. (5) HOOVES ON FIRST very game second against better last out; main danger. (6) VORST scored in her last two at Philly; could make some noise with a favorable trip.
Race 10
(2) MACHTU N Gelding goes back to the 2-hole where he was a very game second three starts back so he can take this with a well judged drive from Smith. (4) DOJEA SOLO was sent to the front but did not have enough gas in the tank last out; player. (3) CYAMACH N has put in two good starts at Philly so he must be respected against these.
Race 11
(2) ANDOVERTHEPLACE took the pocket route on her way to glory last time out at Philly. Now she tries the half-mile oval and gets the services of Brennan. (4) MR MONTGOMERY Easy victory at Saratoga last time around; contender. (3) ALLBASSNOTREBLE should find this group to her liking; not out of this.
Race 12
(1) SOHO LENNON A moves to the rail for the finale and this gelding appears to be in a better spot given he faces a weak group. (2) IMA TRAGEDY N will need a favorable trip in order for him to make an impact against these; maybe. (4) FEELING CAM LUCKY put in a good effort in his last trip at Philly; watch out.
