(1) AMATEUR HOUR showed sharp speed in her last one at Pocono; can boss these if she is at her best. (4) AMERICAN IMAGE put in a good qualifier at Philly recently; player. (3) HERETIC FRANCO N could be heading in the right direction off her qualifier here on 7/27; watch out.
Race 2
(4) HAULIN BANC was on the front most of the way she but was caught in deep stretch for win honors recently at Plainridge; the one to ultimately catch. (1) SOMEDEW SOMEDONT did not race badly in her last try at Vernon and now she moves to Yonkers, the rail and Bartlett takes over; threat. (5) ITHINKTHATSMINE came up the passing lane to get up in time for the victory in her Plainridge finale; solid contender.
Race 3
(3) PERPLEXED did flash good speed in her latest before tiring in the stretch run; inside post and tactical speed should translate to a favorable trip; the pick. (1) ACEFORTYFOURAMANDA gets serious post relief and that should help her cause; factor. (4) CRACKLIN ROSIE was second best in her Meadowlands finale; do not overlook.
Race 4
(6) PITTSTOP EMERALD's qualifier was strong and she does fit with these despite drawing door number six; win consideration. (1) ABBIE HALL just held on for the score in her last try at Vernon; will be tough in here from her rail slot. (7) THE RUSSIAN SPY has wheeled off two consecutive victories and now she will have to be at her best from the 7-hole in order to make it three in row; capable.
Race 5
(6) MACHIAVELLI takes the plunge in class and he could improve here if he brings his A-game to the table. (4) RURAL ART makes his return to Yonkers where he has done his best running. (1) JUSTICE MY WAY retains the rail but will need a better trip than in his latest; possible.
Race 6
(2) CIAO DOLCE Sophomore miss has been sharp in her last two trips to the post; could be tough to reel in. (4) LIMA NOVELTY was no match in the Hambo Oaks but based on her current form she most likely will be the one to beat. (1) SUPERGIRL RILEY was a very game second last out and now she will move up in class but draws the rail; player.
Race 7
(2) TREASURE MACH did not have the best of trips in his last start but the good news is he gets a better post and will have the services of Bartlett; stands to improve tonight if he is at his best. (5) LONE SURVIVOR should make his presence felt if he returns to his 7/10 second-place finish. (4) RANSOM DEMAND moves down the ladder and that might be the ticket he needs to contend with these; merits respect.
Race 8
Based on her last three outings (1) LUCKY AVA seems to be ready to bring her A-game to the table and she retains the fence; the one to deny. (2) TRIBUTE TO SEVEN surged very late to get up for show money in her Vernon finale; second best. (6) MOOSHKA STRIDE will need a favorable trip in order for her to contend with these; completes the trifecta.
Race 9
Will take a shot with (8) DRUNK ON YOUR LOVE to put it all together. Gelding does have some speed to grab a good position from door number eight; worth consideration. (5) MACH OME put in a mild bid in his last start against tougher company; big threat for win honors. (1) SIR MACHALOT should fare much better from the rail and he does have tactical speed; not out of this.
Race 10
(4) HOOVES ON FIRST is on a roll scoring her second consecutive victory; if she gets another favorable trip, the rest will have to settle for minor awards. (1) TATARIA could not get past the eventual winner Hooves on First in their last attempt; main danger. (2) ROBIN J gets serious post and that might help her cause.
Race 11
(5) BRIDGE TO TOMORROW seems to be heading in the right direction and she does have every right to make tonight a winning one with a better-timed run. (3) CERTIFIED IDEAL moves down in class and she is in a good spot as any of these; player. (1) PIRINEAS PRINCESS figures to be prominent from the start and it is good to see Bartlett at the helm; watch out.
Race 12
This seems to be a perfect spot for (1) MCCLINCHIE N to greet the camera operator for pictures; stands to improve with Bartlett in the bike. (5) ALBERTO CONTADOR N is knocking at the door based on his last two outings; threat. Post relief and a class drop should help (3) MILLIONDOLLAR WAVE's chances if he gets a favorable trip.
