Race 1
(1) VELOCITY VESPA looks to be in a perfect spot to get the job done; down the road. (6) GALLEY WENCH has wheeled off two straight victories; main threat. (3) FANTICIPATION should do much better with the class relief.
Race 2
(6) BARN GODDESS She is knocking at the door and with a well judged drive this filly can greet the cameraman for pictures. (3) BILLIE BLUE is better than her latest and she must be considered. (2) ROYAL OAKS If you throw out her last one she fits well with these; watch out.
Race 3
(4) NIC NAC PATTY MACH Pacing mare moves down the ladder and she does have tactical speed; gets the call. (3) CHERRY BLISS gets class and post relief and this should help her cause; we shall see. (7) WORLDLYDOLL put in a good run last out so she must be considered in the exotic picture.
Race 4
(4) LIMA OH SO SWEET was sharp for the placing last out upstate so there's a good sign this filly can put her best foot forward. (2) SEVENTH HEAVEN has scored her second straight victory in fine fashion last time around; dangerous again. (1) PRAIRIE DIAMONDS closed well on her way to a easy score recently at Saratoga; not out of this.
Race 5
(5) MISS PRIM was a very good second in her Saratoga finale. Filly could be ready for a fine effort if she gets the right trip. (3) HOTEL ROYALE has good speed and has hit the board in her last three tries; big threat. (2) CHAPTER REVIEW closed well to nail down the place spot last time out; don't overlook.
Race 6
(1) CELEBRITY RUTH was good on the engine last time around but tried in deep stretch. Sophomore miss draws the rail and gets the services of Mr. Bartlett; the pick. (6) CHAPTER TOO Very game last out to hold the placing in her Saratoga finale; main danger. (4) HEELS ON WHEELS should do much better from the 4-hole; maybe.
Race 7
(1) MAEWEGONOW In her last try upstate might be an indication filly is ready for a big effort and the rail slot should make her move forward. (3) BARN BELLA has scored in her last two trips to the post and figures to be the one to beat. (6) SOUTHWIND TESLA was sent down the road in her latest for all the glory; don't count her out of this.
Race 8
(4) GOLDEN GESTURE rallied nicely for the fourth spot last time out. Gelding appears to be heading in the right direction and gets a class drop. (1) BETTORS GLASS was sharp in his Qualifier here on 7/21 and Brennan now has the assignment. (5) SPORTSKEEPER should be right in the mix if he gets a favorable trip.
Race 9
(4) TEMPSTER HANOVER did not race badly in his last so if he gets the perfect trip the rest will have to settle for minor awards. (5) SKY IS THE LIMIT is 0 for 21 this year, but his last one was quite good; threat at his best. (2) DALTON DID IT is another that has not greeted the cameraman in 2017 but now he moves to door number two and Bartlett stays in the bike; watch out.
Race 10
(4) STEVENSVILLE 6-year-old gets the best of the draw and is good enough to boss these at his best. (3) FIRST OF ITSKIND just missed glory by a head recently; contender for win honors. (7) ROYAL HEART was second best in his Tioga finale; don't overlook.
Race 11
(3) HAVE A PARODI Based on his last start this gelding is knocking at the door for win honors and with a well judged drive from Zeron he can make it 4 victories in 2017. (1) CHUCARO ACERO BC gets post relief and that should help his cause; threat. (4) MASTERSON needs to revert to his 7/11 start to contend with these; quite possible.
Race 12
(1) KAMWOOD LAUGHTER N was sent down the road in her last try to grab the victory last time out. Mare retains the rail and has every right to top these once again wire to window. (3) GADSDEN HANOVER did flash speed in her last try but tired in the stretch drive; could have a say in the outcome. (4) KEYSTONE I WISH was a game second last out and she clearly must not be counted out of this event.
