(7) GLASS PRINCE will try to turn the tables on his rival (8) DUEL IN THE SUN. The latter enjoyed a wire-to-wire score from the fence last out; post hurts but two in a row is not out of the question. (4) ROCKIN ROBERT gets post relief and that should help his cause.
Race 2
(5) LINDYTHEFOURTEENTH did not have enough gas in the tank and lasted for show money in his latest; he can boss these with a clean getaway. (3) SIR RICHIE N put in a sharp qualifier at Philly on 7/10; he can be right in the mix. (2) FLASH LAUXMONT should contend with these from door number two.
Race 3
(5) CHERRY BLISS showed signs of life in her last trip as she just missed the victory by a nose; can put her best foot forward. (3) THANK THE BANK flashed good speed in her first attempt at the Hilltop; threat. (1) UPFRONT SUPERSONIC was on the lead most of the way but tired in deep stretch recently; not out of this.
Race 4
(2) TWIN B IMPRESSIVE moves back down to the NW5000 ranks where this pacer has had the most success; win candidate. Pennsylvania invader (4) ALTA JEROME N might be in a better spot tonight and he does have tactical speed; factor. (6) PROJECT ROCK rallied strongly to nail down the placing in his last attempt; do not overlook.
Race 5
(7) KAYS DELIGHT was a fast-closing third in her first try at this level; has every right to mow these down with a well-judged run. (6) ACEFORTYFOURAMANDA put in a mild rally but she could get past the top two in her last trip to the post; threat. (4) JOYFUL GAME should appreciate the move to the 4-hole.
Race 6
(5) TREASURE MACH makes his return to Yonkers and this looks like a perfect spot for this gelding to greet the camera operator for pictures. (3) SECRECY moves down the ladder and gets post relief; main danger. (2) ARTISTIC MAJOR is back at the half-mile oval and he gets a cozy post in hopes of making an impact with these; watch out.
Race 7
(4) HOOVES ON FIRST did not have the best of trips in her last try but she knows how to get the job done here and she fits with this group; she can take this with a favorable trip. (1) BROWN BRINNY reunites with Bartlett and speed from the rail can be deadly; win threat. (2) ROYAL KNOCKOUT moves down the ladder and gets post relief; consider.
Race 8
(1) FREEZE OUT did not have enough gas in the tank and tired in the stretch drive last out; retains the fence and she seems to be the speed of the speed; the pick. (3) ALL ABOUT MADI does have speed and the drop should help her chances. (6) DEWAR N SODA was third best in her Philly finale and it is good to see Bartlett with the assignment.
Race 9
Canadian invader (4) MOHAWK WARRIOR should handle the half-mile track and the condition should fit him like a glove; gets the call. (1) LETTUCEROCKTHEM A is knocking at the door based on his last two trips to the post. (2) ACE OF CLUBS has put in two sharp efforts in a row at Plainridge and he does know how to win at the Hilltop; watch out.
Race 10
(5) SPEAKING OUT just missed the score by a neck last out so despite the zero for 16 tries, this gelding is heading in the right direction; can top these if he bring his A-game to the table. Speedy gelding (1) IN THE HUDDLE flashed good speed and his last try and he appears to be a serious threat from the rail slot and Bartlett at the controls. (2) ASCOT ENCOUNTER A was second best against lesser company recently; could have a say in the outcome.
