Race 1
(7) PAMS LEGACY moves down in class and Bartlett stays in the bike; gets the call. (6) DINNER GUEST makes his return to Yonkers where he has done his best running. (3) BLUE STRIKE was sharp for second money last time out.
Race 2
(7) SHEER ASSAULT just missed the victory by only 1/4 length last time around and has every right to boss these trotters. (3) QUICK SUMMER Trotting miss was a game second upstate last out. (5) BARN GODDESS seems to be in a better spot tonight; we shall see.
Race 3
(2) BEACH MEMORIES Ohio invader has fine speed and gets the services of Bartlett; the pick. (1) NEPTUNE was facing Open foes upstate and now draws the rail; threat. (5) DOUBLE YOUR BET raced evenly and held the show spot in his latest.
Race 4
(4) STORMUNN was sent down the road in her previous outing for all the glory and this mare seems to be in winning form to grab another. (2) LIGHTNING RIDE gets serious post relief and that should help her cause; big factor. (5) UPFRONTWHOSURLADY has done quite well at the Hilltop and could be right in the mix.
Race 5
(2) CANACO STAR might have been used up in the early stages last time out so with a well judged drive from Bartlett this 11-year-old mare can get the job done. (4) CRUISINWITHMYBABY was third best in her Saratoga finale; could have a say in the outcome. (1) LYRA closed well to grab the placing last time around; not out of this.
Race 6
(2) EYE OFA TIGER AS was on the front most of the way but was nailed for win honors in his recent outing against better so this might be the right spot for him to greet the cameraman for pictures. (5) ZACKS ZOOMER was very game for the score in his Philly finale; player again. (1) NOBLE POWER did not race badly last out at Pocono and now moves to the fence; watch out.
Race 7
(5) NOTHIN FANCY comes by way of Ohio and this gelding has plenty of speed to boss these down the road. (1) QUICK ART Upstate invader showed speed against lesser but gets Bartlett and draws the rail. (2) STELLAS PHELLA has put in two thirds in a row; could be in the exotic mix.
Race 8
(3) BELLATRICKS Mare was sharp for the victory in her Scioto finale and she figures to stay in solid form and Sears takes over; ready for action. (5) TWICE AN ANGEL was sitting in the pocket but could not get to the winner in her latest at the Meadowlands; big threat. (6) BAZOOKA TERROR fits with these and with a favorable trip she can make some serious noise in the stretch run.
Race 9
(3) STARSKYS DREAM N makes his return to Yonkers where he has done quite well. With the right trip he can top these at his best. (1) QUALITY CLOSER moves to the fence and that might help his cause; maybe. (4) IMA TRAGEDY N could land a share of the purse.
Race 10
(2) CARD SHOCK showed some early zip at Monticello but he clearly loves Yonkers and Brennan is back at the helm; worth a play. (5) HIGHVIEW CONALL N was on the lead most of the way at Pocono but tired in the stretch drive; could be a factor with these. (7) BETTORSLUCKYSTREAK has been facing Open foes upstate; post hurts but he is capable.
Race 11
(8) MONTEVERDI Sharp for the victory last time out at Pocono. Trotting gelding now moves to Yonkers and gets the worst of the draw. However he has good speed and with a favorable trip he might get the job done. (6) SOUTHWIND AVANTI Sophomore miss is on a roll scoring her second straight victory; dangerous. (3) SIR JOHN F has put in two good efforts and clearly he is not out of this.
Race 12
(1) LAWGIVER HANOVER moves down in class and retains the rail. 8-year-old veteran could take this at his best. (2) MASTERSON fits well in this event and he does know how to win; major player. (5) WAR N MUNN was late on the scene to miss glory by a length at the Big M last out.
