(2) BIG TURN ON returns locally off a nice win at Philly and he’s a good fit at this bottom level. (4) MANHATTAN BENNY was claimed out of his last local race and never got close at Saratoga from an impossible spot; he’s another that goes well here. (1) CHEYENNE OXE draws best which could help him land a minor share. Race 2 – NW10000 in last 5 starts (3) BINGO QUEEN has been a solid fit at this level for years and she can take this with a smooth trip and good manners. (1) ADAGIO DE LA TOUR throws in clunkers once in a while but generally he’s been reliable for Laterza. (5) DRAZZMATAZZ was Bartlett’s choice and he’s been better recently. (2) MADMAN HALL would be rated much higher if Schnittker would have enlisted a catch-driver. Race 3 – NW5000 in last 5 starts (2) NATURAL LEDA hasn’t won in ages for a barn that’s still seeking its first seasonal win but this is the softest spot he’s seen in some time. (4) MAAJAACKKOBE has been close recently at Pocono and is a threat to take these all the way. (3) WINNING DESIGN gets a big driver upgrade to Stratton. (8) SETTLEMOIR is still trying to get untracked this season and the eight hole doesn’t help; use underneath? Race 4 – F&M NW5000 in last 5 (3) FRANNEY LOVE DAT was too far back to threaten in her latest at The Meadowlands but she was going well late and she returns to Yonkers facing a field with question marks; worth a play if anywhere close to her 20/1 morning line. (1) MAJORETTE ANGIE did ok last season on NY bred events and she draws best here; threat. (4) SHEER TALENT has been sharp out of town for Surick and should fit well here. (2) LK’S NANCY LEE plunges in price off an empty effort for Allard; use caution. Race 5 – NW10000 in last 5 (1) BARRY BLACK went evenly and safely last out at The Meadowlands and from this spot with Stratton driving the French import can get it done. (3) ONE OF THE FEW gets Brennan back in the bike and he could be a speed threat from this spot. (6) THE LAST CHAPTER faces much softer but beware as he’s burned money here in the past. (4) LIFE WELL LIVED returns off a win at Pocono and has plenty of local experience. Race 6 – NW5000 in last 5 starts - $10K GTD PICK-5 POOL (2) SHANE ADAM and (1) RUN ONEOVER N both take needed drops in class and draw the top two posts; hard to look past either of these winning but Shane Adam may be the freshest one late. (3) GRAND MASTER is more than capable of saving ground and keeping pace late. (4) SECRECY looks best of the rest and can complete a chalky top four. Race 7 – F&M NW10000 in last 5 (3) BEST OF JENNA fits very well at this NW10000 level for the Stratton brothers and she should be an ok price in this event. (7) YS TALLIA burned cash at odds-on last out for Allard after brushing and giving way; mare will be a much better price tonight as an off-the-pace threat. (1) DALI DELIGHT has been a close-up second in her last two after finally bumping to this Optional $20K claiming level. (4) BROWN BRINNY hails from Banca/Bartlett but always seems to come up a touch short. Race 8 – NW10000 in last 5 (4) MYSTICAL POWER is fresh Lance Hudson stock, this time with a trotter, and that makes her almost automatic selecting. (3) PERFECT STICK burned money last out; trotter is better than that. (1) I’M THE MUSCLE had a nice 3-year-old campaign but has yet to get untracked for Lachance; this is a live spot, however. (6) TIDQUIST never misses a check at this level. Race 9 – NW $10000 in last 5 (3) JM JACK OF HEARTS returns to Yonkers off an easy front-end score versus a bit cheaper at Philly and note he was the 6/5 favorite versus better when last at Yonkers. (4) IN THE HUDDLE is another with plenty of local experience and he’s been racing well up at Saratoga. (5) TWIN B SPEEDO has been showing live moves at The Big M and he can be considered underneath, as can (2) ZACH MAGUIRE N who gets Zeron back in the bike, and they teamed up for a win two back. Race 10 – NW10000 in last 5 (2) ROCKATHON finally gets that coveted post relief and anything resembling that effort two back will be enough to topple these. (1) GHOST PINE gets needed class and post relief; I’m sure the game plan is to blast down the road trying to take these the distance.  (4) DOCTOR BUTCH has not fired his best shot in quite some time but the veteran is still a player at this level. (3) WIND BLAST hails from the live connections (Hudson/Stratton) and will be a price; use underneath.
