(2) INTHEPERFECTSTORM rallied strongly to nail down the show spot last out. Gelding could be ready to grab his first score of the year. (8) JUMBO JET N is knocking at the door based on his last two trips at the Meadowlands; post hurts but is capable. (4) WACO BRUISER gets post relief and that might help his cause.
Race 2
(2) ROCKET MASTER had a good finish closing strongly last out; should find the 2-hole to his liking and with a favorable trip he could get the job done. (1) FOX VALLEY STEFFEN Gelding was second best in his last try so the rail should put him right in the mix. (7) ALLIES GIFT went down the road for all the glory at Freehold recently.
Race 3
(2) ILIKETHEMTRASHY just missed the victory by only 3/4 length and this pacer figures to get a better trip against these; the pick. (6) YS LOTUS got to the front turning for home but could not hold off the top two in his latest; threat. (1) REGULUS N should fare well from the rail; maybe.
Race 4
(2) NOBLE WARRAWEE is on the dropdown and should find these to his liking and gets a cozy post to boot; playable. (1) PERFECTLY ENOUGH S makes his first attempt at Yonkers and draws the rail; capable. (5) KASCARA ROSA Trotting mare will need a better trip then in her latest; exotics factor.
Race 5
(3) V I P BAYAMA came down the center of the track to nail down the victory last out. Gelding appears to be in good form so with another sharp performance the rest will have to settle for second money. (4) LUNAR TIDE N put in a nice rally for the second spot in his most recent outing; main danger. (1) MORTAL ZIN was facing open foes at Tioga last time out and rallied nicely for show honors; not out of this.
Race 6
(1) CASHONTHEROCS leaves the 8-hole and moves to the rail. Gelding does know how to win races and good to see Brennan keeping the faith; threat at his best. (4) HIDDEN IDENTITY has good speed but seems to tire late; major player. (2) MUGSHOT JESS Gelding came close to glory losing by only a neck; watch out.
Race 7
(2) DELCO ROCKNROLL Sharp for place honors last time out. Gelding might be ready to put his best foot forward with Brennan at the controls. (1) LIGHTNING RAIDER N raced evenly to hold on for the show spot last time around; big threat. (6) TWIN B HOLLISTER moves down in class and Bartlett stays; beware.
Race 8
(2) HILLMAN was a game second at Freehold last time out. Trotting colt makes his first start at Yonkers and catches a weak group; gets the call. (5) LUV AT FIRST SITE will need a better trip to make an impact against these; possible. (3) UNCLE DAN flashed good speed against lesser company in his Jersey finale.
Race 9
(2) ONE AND ONLY was late on the scene to miss glory by 3/4 length. Gelding appears to be heading in the right direction and could boss these at his best. (1) ZIGGY SKY showed good pace in his last trip to the post and could make some serious noise in here. (4) SHORTSTACKED moves down the ladder and this could help his chances; possible.
Race 10
(2) HMS FIRECRACKER Now this gelding receives a much better post to rate and score over these; gets the call. (5) APOSTLES CREED Quite game to miss the victory by only a head; main danger. (1) KEYSTONE BODACIOUS moves back to Yonkers and draws the rail; worth a play.
Race 11
(4) MADMAN HALL made a tough break at the start last out but this trotter can get the job done if he reverts to his May 17th start; we shall see. (2) P L INDYANACA She has tactical speed and should fare better from the 2-hole. (6) A LIST LINDY Trotting mare was on the attack at the 3/4 pole but broke and she lost all chance last out; watch out today.
Race 12
(2) LUCKY MCTRUCKY moves back inside where this gelding was a sharp winner two starts back. With a return to that effort it could be game over for the rest of these. (1) LIFE UP FRONT made a nice quarter move to grab the lead and never looked back on his way to glory last out at Pocono; playable. (3) SECOND WIND N stayed in the pocket most of the way and was second best in his last try; don't overlook.
