Best Bet: IDEAL LEGACY A (5th)
Spot Play: GOLDEN GESTURE (3rd)
MEET STATS: 98 - 420 / $663.90
BEST BETS: 20 - 39 / $74.10
Race 1
(2) BIG TURN ON was sent right down the road in his latest for all the glory. Gelding appears to be in sharp form and should be primed to take another. (6) KING ROYALTY put in a mild rally for show honors last time around; player. (7) LETTUCEROCKU A just missed the victory by a half of length last out; don't overlook.
Race 2
(7) STICK WITH ME KID makes his first start of the year coming off an excellent qualifier at Saratoga on 4/21 and he can boss these trotters at his best. (4) FREDDIE MAC came outside through the stretch but could not get to the top two last out; factor. (8) MAEWEGONOW Filly was very game in her first attempt in 2017; post hurts but she is capable.
Race 3
(5) GOLDEN GESTURE looks to be in a better spot tonight and this gelding had fine success at the Hilltop last year; threat for win honors. (4) FEELING CAM LUCKY did show some early pace in his latest and could be right in the mix. (3) JK PATRIOT gets post relief and that might help his cause.
Race 4
(4) PRAYING FAY Sharp down the road score in his recent trip upstate and this trotter is good enough for the hat trick. (6) OPTIMIST BLUE CHIP got the job done in his last start of the year at Pocono; main danger. (1) CARRICK took the pocket route on his way to victory last time out.
Race 5
(2) IDEAL LEGACY A did not fire at Pocono, but the good news is he is back where this gelding was a fast closing third on March 2nd and maybe he can put his best forward against these. (7) TUNDRA closed strongly to nail down the show spot in his last try at Saratoga; main danger. (4) THIRTY TWO RED should do much better from the 4-hole; possible.
Race 6
(3) CENTURY CHURCHILL put in a nice effort against better company last time around. Pacing gelding appears to be heading in the right direction so the drop could put him right back into the winner's circle. (2) MODERN GESTURE was a game second two trips ago here and could make some noise against these. (4) RURAL ART was on the engine most of the way but was nailed in deep stretch for the score last out.
Race 7
(7) FLEM N EM N takes a slight drop in class and this veteran could show more speed. With a well judged drive he can take these to task for all the cash. (1) SAMS ESCAPE retains the rail and was sharp for the place spot last time around; big threat. (3) GIVEN UP TERROR was sent down the road in his last try for all the glory; player despite the rise in class.
Race 8
(1) ADDWATER Very consistent gelding has hit the board 9 of 10 starts this year and stays on the fence; gets the call. (5) ADVENTURE BOUND Sharp at his Delaware headquarters and gets the services of Bartlett; main danger. (2) ETHAN HANOVER is knocking at the door based on his last two trips to the post; watch out.
Race 9
(3) ONE CLASS ACT might have been used up in the early stages last time out. Trotter does have a score here so she has every right to top these down the road. (4) JAZEBEL DE VIE mild bid for show honors last out and this gelding could be right in the swing of things. (2) SUMMIT CITY TURBO has tactical speed and he must be considered in all the exotic slots.
Race 10
(2) BULLY PULPIT makes his return to Yonkers where he does have a victory here on January 9th and good to see Mr. Bartlett in the bike; the pick. (3) LUCKY MAN should be right in the mix from the 3-hole. (6) PONDEROSITO rallied strongly to grab the placing recently at Saratoga; not out of this.
Race 11
(6) FRONT STREET Trotting gelding has been sharp and seems to be heading in the right direction to greet the cameraman for pictures. (2) LOOKINGFORAMIRACLE Filly is clearly knocking at the door based on her last three outings; big threat. (5) TRUE MUSCLE was sent down the road in her last try for the victory, now she moves outside but she can compete with these; watch out.
Race 12
(4) BJ’S GUY Gelding gets class relief and showed good speed in his latest; can be the boss over these at his best. (1) SIMPLY BUSINESS has put in two solid efforts and now gets a lucky draw; main danger. (5) BACK ON BOARD N needs to revert to his 4/8 try to contend; quite possible.
