Race 1
(1) BIG TURN ON gets the golden rail and is knocking at the door. Can boss these at his best. (7) EVERY INTENTION has shown good pace in his last two tries; post hurts but he is very capable. (4) KING ROYALTY could grab a share of the purse.
Race 2
(3) CHROMEO just held on for the victory in his Pocono finale. Trotter seems to be in sharp form so two straight is not out of the question. (2) CARRICK just missed glory by 3/4 length; threat. (4) LIMA OH SO SWEET was very game for the score in his latest at Freehold; watch out.
Race 3
(7) WESTERN DYNASTY closed well to grab the show spot last time out. Gelding appears to be heading in the right direction and can take this with a well judged drive from Dube. (5) BULLSEYE gets post relief and that might help his cause; maybe. (3) STATION THREEOHSIX was sent down the road in his last trip to Monticello for all the glory; don't overlook.
Race 4
(7) INTREPID T did have better success at the Hilltop so with that said this trotting gelding can make a complete turnaround against these; we shall see. (5) MAEWEGONOW makes her 2017 debut and her qualifier last out was sharp enough; factor. (6) SOUTHERN OAKS 4-year-old miss is knocking at the door based on her last two trips to the post; not out of this.
Race 5
(3) MINTILISCIOUS Gelding gets another chance for glory from door number three; has hit the board five of nine starts this year at his Ohio headquarters; big threat for win honors. (2) GIVEN UP TERROR was on the lead most of the way but was caught for the victory in deep stretch last time around; dangerous. (1) BET TOGETHER should do much better from the rail.
Race 6
(2) BETTORSLUCKYSTREAK gets post relief, drops in class and is seeking his second score of the year; primed to get the job done. (4) MOVEOUTOFMYWAY does have some early zip to contend with this group. (3) YANKEE HEAVEN could be in the mix from the 3-hole; capable.
Race 7
(2) LONE RAIDER moves down the ladder and gets the services of Bartlett; can be the boss against these. (1) ROCK STAR could find these to his liking and that rail could move him up; player. (7) DEMOCRACY N leaves the 8-hole and he could be right in the thick of it.
Race 8
(3) ONTHEROAD DE VIE seems to be ready to put his best foot forward and good to see Gingras with the assignment; the pick. (1) DEFI NORMAND moves to the fence and that might help his chances; maybe. (4) ALEX IN FRONT will need a better trip just like his 4/4 start to make an impact; don't overlook.
Race 9
Milici entry of (1) SHOWMEYOURGUNS & (1A) MADHATTER BLUECHIP looks very tough to down. (2) PHAT STACKS is seeking his first victory of the year and clearly this gelding can put it all together; major player. (4) IM LOOKING AT YOU did put in a mild rally for the show spot in his last trip; watch out.
Race 10
(1) TIGHT LINES has done nothing wrong, remains unbeaten in all of his four starts and the trotting gelding now gets the rail; down the road to take the final. (4) AMELIOSI could not get close to the top pick last week but she does fit well in here; second best. (7) GOLDEN SON has been sharp in the series and gelding must be considered despite the move to door number seven.
Race 11
(1) SOUTHWIND FERRARI was sent down the road last time out for all the marbles. Trotter sophomore now will get the rail-ride en route to a second straight victory. (3) ONE CLASS ACT moves up the scale off her wire to window score last time around; factor. (2) LOOKINGFORAMIRACLE is knocking at the door based on her last two outings; beware.
Race 12
(1) PANSFORMATIVE was on the engine most of the in his Pocono finale but was nailed for win honors. Gelding moves back to Yonkers where he was a game third on St. Paddy's night; gets the call. (4) THE SPY Rallied for the show spot last out missing the victory by 3/4 length; big threat. (2) WICKED BUSINESS gets post relief and Bartlett signs on for the drive; not out of this.
