(5) SIMPLY BUSINESS did not fire in his last try but was a good third two starts ago; can turn things around against this group. (1) ZIGGY SKY flashed good speed but tired in deep stretch last out; could be right there from the fence. (3) NEPTUNE makes his 2017 debut and he could make some noise in this event.
Race 2
(1) MAJESTIC MISTRESS Clearly this trotting mare is knocking at the door; can boss these at her best. (4) DYNAMIC EDGE gets post relief and that might help his cause. (5) TRIUMPHANTS CHIP was sent down the road in his latest for all the glory.
Race 3
(4) MADHATTER BLUECHIP just held on for win honors last week and this gelding seems to be in sharp form; gets the call for the repeat. (1) HILLOSOPHICAL was very game but she could not get to the winner last time around; threat. (2) ONTHEROAD DE VIE should be right in the mix from the 2-hole.
Race 4
(4) AMELIOSI just missed the victory by 3/4 length and now the trotting mare gets Bartlett; can move forward. (3) JOYFUL Pennsylvania invader got the job done in his latest; main danger. (6) DEFI NORMAND needs a better trip than in his last try; maybe.
Race 5
(4) MOOSE MADNESS was nailed by Pridecrest last week and this gelding is good enough to turn the tables on that rival. (6) STEED is knocking at the door based on his last three outings. (3) PRIDECREST came up the cones to get the job done last out; two straight is not out of the question.
Race 6
(2) GOLDEN SON Gelding went down the road for win honors last out. Clearly he is the one to deny at odds-on. (6) SHOWMEYOURGUNS was third best in his last start; player. (4) IM LOOKING AT YOU just missed the score last time around; not out of this.
Race 7
(6) ALVAREZ showed signs of life in her last try and she can put her best foot forward to greet the cameraman for pictures. (4) TIGHT LINES has wheeled off two straight victories; the one to fear. (7) WINDSONG MAGIC put in a fine effort for the victory in her last start; don't overlook.
Race 8
(5) COLONIAL ROAD moves down in class and good to see Bartlett at the controls; the pick. (3) SUPREME MACH N was third best in his Pocono finale; big threat from the 3-hole. (4) THREE OF CLUBS figures to be right in the swing of things if given a favorable trip; watch out.
Race 9
(2) PANCHESTER UNITED seems to be in a perfect spot to get back into the winner's circle with a well judged drive from Bartlett. (1) BLATANTLY BEST should do much better from the fence. (5) CROMBIE A showed some speed in his last trip at Pocono; could have a say in the outcome.
Race 10
(4) DOUBLE YOUR BET is back at Yonkers where he was a sharp third two starts ago; can get the job done with a fine-timed drive from Miller. (2) CHOCOLATE CRACKERS gets serious post relief and that could help his cause; we shall see. (6) GRAND THEFT did not race badly last time out; contender.
Race 11
(4) SPEED IT took the pocket-rocket route on his way to his second score here and he will be tough to down at low odds. (5) ARCHERY has some early zip and could make some noise in here. (1) LOOKINGFORAMIRACLE was very game at the Meadowlands last time around; beware from the fence.
Race 12
(2) QUICK FUN N Two nice efforts at Pocono and now the gelding will take his trade to the half-mile oval; can take this with Bartlett at the helm. (1) STARSKYS DREAM N was nailed for the victory last time out; major player. (6) THE REV 7-year-old tired in the stretch drive recently; must be considered in the exotic slots.
