Best Bet: ARCHERY (11th)

Spot Play: SHE SAID (3rd)

MEET STATS: 65 - 281 / $475.70

BEST BETS: 15 - 27 / $59.70

Race 1

(3) JOHNNY Z seems to be heading in the right direction and he could get the job done here if given a favorable trip. (5) FOCUS POWER flashed fine speed last out and could be the main danger in this event. (1) EVERY INTENTION raced evenly to hold on for third money last time around.

Race 2

(4) STORMONT DUNDAS is knocking at the door based on his latest and he does have a win over the oval; gets the call. (1) FRONT STREET was sent down the road in his Saratoga finale to grab the victory. (8) TROTTING MISSMISSY Trotting mare won easily at Dover last out; post hurts but she is capable.

Race 3

(2) SHE SAID gets serious post relief and she has tactical speed. Mare can top these with Brennan at the controls. (4) CHAXIRAXI HANOVER showed signs of life in her last try and could make some noise in here. (1) HOOSIER CHATTER moves now to the rail and Bartlett stays in the bike; watch out.

Race 4

(2) BASS PLAYER has trouble at the 1/4 pole last time around and he lost all chance. Gelding has 3 scores this year so he does know how to get back into the winner's circle. (1A) WESTERN TYRANT has good tactical speed and he has every right to contend with these despite the bad post. (5) ROCK POWER put in a mild bid for the show spot in his last trip.

Race 5

(5) YANKEE HEAVEN did not fire in his Maryland finale but this gelding fits well against this group of pacers; ready to score at his best. (1) VERSADO was facing a little tougher at Freehold and now he gets door number one; factor. (2) BLADE SEELSTER should do much better from the 2-hole and Brennan has the assignment.

Race 6

(5) AWESOMENESS has done nothing wrong since the move from Canada. 4-year-old gelding is sharp and he should keep on his winning ways. (2) NEVER SAY NEVER N led every step of the way to keep his unbeaten streak intact; the main danger. (4) IDEAL SON is better than his last trip and he will be closing in the final strides.

Race 7

(3) MORTAL ZIN finally leaves the far outside slot and this seems to be a perfect spot for this gelding to greet the cameraman for pictures. (7) NORTHERN VIRGIN took the pocket route on his way to victory last out. (4) BET TOGETHER did show some speed in his last trip and could have a say in the outcome.

Race 8

(1) OOH RAH just lost glory by a nose to Speed It last week and now he moves to the fence in hopes of turning the tables on this rival. (8) SPEED IT made his first start at Yonkers a winning one last out but now will have to repeat from the 8-hole; not out of the question. (2) TRUE MUSCLE rallied well to grab the show spot in her Freehold finale; watch out.

Race 9

(1) URBANA BAYAMA Evenly in his last start and this 7-year-old can get back into the winning groove with a favorable trip. (3) NEWBIE leaves the 8-hole and good to see Bartlett keeps the faith; big threat. (5) STEVENSVILLE led most of the way but was caught in deep stretch last time around; don't overlook.

Race 10

(8) HIGH COURAGE N has put in two nice efforts and this gelding is good enough to get right back into the swing of things despite the bad draw. (3) OUR DRAGON KING gets serious post relief and that should help his cause. (2) COLONIAL ROAD is another with the good draw; not out of this.

Race 11

(3) ARCHERY just missed glory by a head last time out. Trotter is heading in the right direction and could top these at his best. (2) GUSTAVO FRING moves up the ladder off an easy victory last time around. (1) MANWITHAMISSION makes his first start here and is unbeaten in two tries this year; beware.

Race 12

(6) GOOD DAY MATE has put in two nice efforts at Freehold and this 7-year-old pacer can get the job done with Bartlett at the helm. (2) WILLIE BOOTS Jersey invader is back at the Hilltop and gets a good post to work with. (5) EXIT CAM put in a mild bid in his last start and he could make some noise in deep stretch.
