Race 1
(5) BABY REMIND ME Mare did show signs of life in her latest; can take this at her best. (4) AMERICAN ALIVE rallied strongly to nail down the place spot last time out. (7) ROLL WITH ANN closed well to lose glory by a length and a half recently.
Race 2
(4) GLOBAL REVOLUTION was facing better last time out and did show fine speed; can boss these down the road. (1) HOOFIN IT gets serious post relief and in his first start of the year last week he was quite good. (2) MADMAN HALL Trotter is knocking at the door based on his last two tries.
Race 3
(5) PEPPER GUY took them all the way as the odds on favorite last week. Gelding seems to be on top of his game and should keep on his winning ways. (2) HEADLIGHTS ON just got up for win honors in his last trip. (1) GERARD N MO has put in two good efforts in a row and he appears to be a threat from the fence.
Race 4
(3) SUTTON SEELSTER did not have the best of trips last out but now he catches a weak group; could make tonight a winning one. (2) PERCYS Z TAM put in a good qualifier last week for his 2018 debut. (1) KOKANNE SEELSTER retains the rail and is on the dropdown.
Race 5
(3) SET ME UP is picking up checks for different connections and she scored her third straight victory last time around. The one to deny. (2) ROYAL KNOCKOUT is clearly knocking at the door based on her last two trips to the post. (5) WHISKERSONKITTENS took the lead right from the gate at the Meadowlands and she never looked back in her latest.
Race 6
(3) BETTER B ROLLING blasted right from the 8-hole to grab the lead but he did not have enough gas in the tank and tired badly last week. Gelding does have the speed in here and now he gets the luck of the draw. My choice. (5) QUALITY CLOSER Meadowlands invader will try to handle the half-mile oval and he seems to be a good fit in here. (4) MR HASANI N could have a say from door number four.
Race 7
(7) MACH N CHEESE Sophomore was sharp in the series with an easy victory last week. He is good enough to take home the top prize in the final. (5) POINT SOMEWHERELSE Was sent by Gregory down the road in the series and never looked back; threat. (3) SOMETIMESAWINNER took down two legs of the Sagamore Hill to remain unbeaten so far this year. Not out of this.
Race 8
(3) PRINCEOFTHEFOREST Delaware shipper moves to Yonkers and gets a cozy post. With a well-judged drive from Mr. Brennan, the pacer can greet the cameraman for pictures. (6) TWIN B IMPRESSIVE Nine-year-old seems to be heading in the right direction. (5) GRAND MASTER was second best at big odds last week.
Race 9
(2) LUCKY COLBY Trotter gets serious post relief and seems to be a perfect fit from door number two; threat for win honors. (6) TROPICAL STORM BI closed strongly to grab the placing last out. (5) SHEER ACTION Monticello invader does have speed and he could make some noise in here.
Race 10
(7) SHNEONUCRZYDIAMND A beat a good field last week and he clearly is in sharp form. Can top these despite the move to the far outside slot. (5) JUSTIFIED showed signs of life in his last try. (1) HIGHVIEW CONALL N gets post relief and that should help his cause; we shall see.
