(3) BASS PLAYER closed well for third money last time out and he is very capable of returning to his winning ways. (5) ROCK POWER very sharp in his last two tries and appears to be a threat in here. (4) QUALITY BUD is knocking at the door based on his last three outings.
Race 2
(4) STORMONT DUNDAS leaves the 8-hole and did not race badly in his latest; threat for win honors. (2) TROTAMUNDO put in a mild rally for the show spot recently. (1) THERESNOWAY was a game second last out and must be considered from the fence.
Race 3
(2) BOOGIEWOOGIEBRIAN seems to be heading in the right direction and now gets door number two; ready for action. (3) URBANA BAYAMA could not get to the winner last time around but fits well in this event. (1) CANBEC KINGKAZIMIR rallied strong for the placing last time out; don't overlook.
Race 4
(7) IDEAL SON came very wide to get the job done last week and two straight is clearly not out of the question; threat for the upset. (5) AWESOMENESS has done nothing wrong since the move from his Woodbine headquarters; odds-on choice. (1) ARTMAGIC came up the cones for the victory in his latest; watch out.
Race 5
(4) NEVER SAY NEVER N unbeaten in his last three starts here and this 4-year-old pacer appears to be tough to deny. (7) DECLARATION OF WAR is knocking at the door and his last try was quite good. (3) WISHIWASAGIGOLO was a game second at big odds last time out; could make some noise again.
Race 6
(4) PREJUDICE was sent down the road for all the glory last out and this pacer appears to be in winning form; can take another. (3) WESTERN TYRANT has come close to scoring twice and must be respected in this event. (1) STIRLING ESCORT was on the engine last out but could not hold off Ideal Son last week.
Race 7
(5) SUNRISE AVENUE leaves the 7-hole and this seems to be a better spot for this trotting mare to get the job done. (2) SPEED IT makes his 2017 debut with a fine record; main danger. (3) OOH RAH came down the center of the track for the victory in his recent trip.
Race 8
(2) BULLVILLE KYLE gets serious post relief and this pacer has tactical speed to rate and score. (3) ZIGGY SKY was sent down the road last out but did not have enough gas in the tank and held on for show money. (4) YO CHEYENNE ROCKY could make some noise from door number four.
Race 9
(6) TYLER Gelding did not fire in his previous try but with a favorable trip he could mow these down for all the glory. (4) BATTLE CALL tipped outside and just got up for win honors last time out. (5) HI HO STEVERINO could not hold off the top two in his latest; not out of this.
Race 10
(1) BIG SURF moves to the rail and Bartlett had other options but stays with this 6-year-old; this pick. (2) PRINT MEDIA Canadian invader flashed good speed in his last start up north; threat. (4) FLEM N EM N was sent down the road last time around but was nailed for win honors.
Race 11
(4) SAMMY THE BULL N is knocking at the door based on his last two outings and at his best he can take this. (1) CHEYENNE JEFFREY moves down in class and draws the rail; main danger. (2) CLASSIESISTAR N should do much better from the 2-hole; maybe.
