(2) REASONABLE FORCE gets post, class relief and Bartlett has the assignment; ready for action. (4) SWELLENDAM was claimed and moving down in class should help his cause. (6) DRUNK ON YOUR LOVE closed well to grab the placing at this level last out; consider.
Race 2
(3) MUSCLE AVE should find these trotters to his liking and has the tactical speed to rate and score. (1) MADMAN HALL retains the rail slot and he does have early trot; threat. (2) MANDEVILLE could have a say in the outcome.
Race 3
(7) TRUMP THAT has been very sharp in his last two tries and clearly he can handle door number seven; the pick. (4) WESTERN BEACHBOY is knocking at the door based on his last four starts; player. (8) BETTOR THAN SPRING might have been used up in the early stages last time around; another shot.
Race 4
(7) CHEESE MELT was a sharp winner in the series last week for trainer Burke. Gets a tough post but given his solid form, he can boss these for his second straight score. (4) DECLAN SEELSTER took charge at the three-quarter pole on his way to victory recently; respect again. (1) P L LESTER should do much better from the rail and with a favorable trip.
Race 5
(4) COOL BLUES MAN seems to be heading in the right direction and he can make tonight a winning one with a well-timed run. (8) SHARP ACTION MONEY has wheeled off two straight victories. Post hurts but the gelding is capable of making it three in a row. (1) SIZZLING SUMMER stays on the rail and he could make some noise this time around.
Race 6
(6) ER ROCK MY WORLD has done quite well at this level and he does have the speed to take these down the road. (2) REACH FOR INFINITY put in a sharp qualifier at Pocono on 3/13 for his 2019 debut; factor. (1) DIAMOND COWBOY showed life in his last try and the ten-year old has every right to put his best foot forward.
Race 7
(4) WATKINS gets a much better post to work with and Holland might have figured him out based on his 3/5 start; worth a shot. (3) FOX VALLEY STEFFEN raced evenly for the fourth spot recently and good to see Bartlett is keeping the faith. (5) CRITICAL MASS came down the center of the track to get the job done last time out. Must be respected despite moving to the 5-hole.
Race 8
(2) NORTHERN ASSASSIN A gets serious post relief and Brennan is at the controls. Can be the boss over these if he is at his best. (5) JOE HILL just ran out of gas in deep stretch last out but he clearly fits with these; big threat. (1) P H SUPERCAM gets the luck of the draw and the veteran is not out of this.
Race 9
Trotting mare (1) BINGO QUEEN seems to be heading in the right direction and with a well-timed drive, she can greet the cameraman for pictures. (3) JACKS TO OPEN has good speed and should be considered in this event. (4) KING CAST gets post relief and that should help his cause.
Race 10
(2) ART SCENE is knocking at the door and gets post relief. If he is at his best he can make tonight a winning one. (3) OZONE BLUE CHIP was a solid second in his last trip and figures to be the main danger. (4) IN SPADES put in a good effort last time around so he could move forward.
Race 11
(7) GREAT VINTAGE was a sharp third at big odds last time out and now the pacer takes a slight drop in class and has good early zip; using. (2) VAGUE TRACES was sent down the road in his last start for all the glory; must be respected. (4) ONE THROUGH TEN has wheeled off two straight victories so he could make some noise despite the rise in condition.
Race 12
(7) TREMENDOUS PLAY is very capable of getting the job done with a well-judged drive from Mr. Bartlett. (1) VORACITY gets a much better post and that should help his chances. (3) DAKOTA JACK was second best in his Pompano finale; not out of this.
