(2) MARTY MONKHOUSER A gets a better post to get back into the winning groove. (6) CHANCELLORCULLEN N took down an easy score at Freehold last out; post hurts tonight but he is very capable. (7) TALKING BLUES came very wide to grab the show spot recently.
Race 2
(4) DON LINDY was a sharp third missing the score by only a head last time out so the rise in class should not be a problem; threat at his best. (1) MAJOR MATTER gets serious post relief and that should help his cause. (5) WINNING PRINCESS was sent to the front but was nailed for win honors in her latest.
Race 3
(1) NORTHERN ASSASSIN A makes his return to the fence where this 8-year-old got the job done three trips ago; the pick. (4) TWIN B FAMOUS takes a slight drop in class and he does have tactical speed; contender. (5) NORTHVIEW PUNTER N leaves the far outside slot and that might be to his advantage.
Race 4
(4) YOLO LINDY Trotting mare makes her return to Yonkers where she has done her best running. (7) BEST TURBO has put in three sharp efforts in a row but she will have to work a little harder from the 7-hole to make tonight a winning one; possible. (1) IM LOOKING AT YOU just missed the score by a head against lesser last out and retains the rail tonight; watch out.
Race 5
(7) SUMMER SNOW did not fire in her last try but if you throw out her recent outing, she fits well in here; gets the call. (5) UPFRONTWHOSURLADY Qualifier at Monticello was good enough to put her right in the mix. (1) BULLVILLE BREN has three sharp efforts at Monticello so the mare will try to make an impact at the Hilltop; don't overlook from the fence.
Race 6
(4) METATRON came up the cones in his last trip to get the job done. Trotter is in winning form and catches a so-so group tonight; threat for the hat trick. (3) TOUGH GET GOING was sitting in the pocket most of the way but could not get to the winner in his last start. (5) DYNAMIC EDGE Gelding needs to revert to his 1/24 start to contend with these; capable.
Race 7
(5) SCOOTIN FOR JOY Mare took charge right from the start but did not have enough gas in the tank and held on for show money last out; can top these if given a favorable trip. (3) HER OWN LAND has rallied strongly in her last two tries; main danger. (8) SWEETNSINFUL has shown good early zip however the mare will have to be on her toes from the 8-hole to top these; maybe.
Race 8
(4) INUKCHUK CHUCK Trotting gelding is clearly knocking at the door based on his last two. He is good enough to make tonight a winning one. (3) PROMISE DELIVERED gets a better post to contend with this group. (8) PERFECT ROAD put in a mild rally for fourth money last time out and he might have a say despite the tough post.
Race 9
(4) MUSTANG MACH N Gelding is sharp and consistent picking up checks. If he gets the right trip, the rest will have to settle for minor awards. (3) OUTRAGEOUS ART raced evenly and held on for the show spot in his last try; contender. (5) PAMS LEGACY was sent down the road last out for all the glory; not out of this.
Race 10
(1) PARTY ON THE RIVER was outrun from the 8-hole last time out but the good news for him is he moves to the fence and he does have a fondness for Yonkers; the pick. (2) TACO TUESDAY moves up in class off a down the road score last time around; capable for the double. (3) ARRAKIS took charge right from the start on route to glory recently; beware.
Race 11
(5) IM A GIFT showed good late pace in his first attempt at Yonkers. Has fine speed to get a favorable trip so if that's the case he can greet the cameraman for pictures. (4) GYPSY LEATHER did not have the best of trips last out and now Trainer Blumenfeld calls on Bartlett to get this gelding back to the winner's circle. (7) FRAMED ART was sent down the road in his latest for the score. Post hurts but he could make some noise against these.
