Race 1
(1) CODE MEISTER was a sharp second in his last trip and now he moves to the fence where he got the job done two starts ago; using. (3) TOUGH MUDDER gets serious post relief and that should help his cause. (2) JACK RACKHAM another that leaves the far outside slot, so you should expect him to rally late; watch out.
Race 2
(6) APLOMB HANOVER just missed the score in his last try. He moves up the ladder but he does seems to be heading in the right direction; gets the call. (8) HIGH BLUE will need a better trip from the 8-hole in order for him to have a shot with these; capable. (7) ALEXANDRIA HANOVER showed good speed but could not get past the winner in her last start; not out of this.
Race 3
(7) AN THE THUNDEROLLS closed well to grab the fourth spot last time out. Gelding catches a weak group so with that said, he is capable of mowing these down when the smoke clears in the stretch run. (6) N EXPENSE took charge at the half-mile marker on his way to victory last time around; repeating threat. (2) WAR DADDY gets a better post and Bartlett has the assignment; do not overlook.
Race 4
(6) ROLL WITH ANN is knocking at the door based on her last three trips to the post. Mare has the speed and Brennan with the return drive; can boss these if she is able to get a clean getaway. (2) SHESAIDHESAIDISAID will need a better trip than she did in her latest; respect. (5) PITTSTOP DANIKA put in a mild bid for show money in her recent outing; merits consideration.
Race 5
(3) ROCKIN M seems to be getting closer to glory based on his last three starts. Has the tactical speed to get an ideal stalking trip and Bartlett is keeping the faith; the pick. (2) I FOUND MY BEACH did not have enough gas in the tank and held on for the third spot last time around; player. (1) BETTOR BELIEVE IT retains the rail but he tired in the stretch run last out; could have a say in the outcome.
Race 6
(7) BLITZ VICTORY showed good early trot in his Meadowlands finale and he should appreciate the half-mile oval; can take this if he is at his best. (3) ZAGSTER lost all chance when the trotter broke past the half-mile marker, however he is much better runner than his last flop; worth a shot. (2) FOX VALLEY STEFFEN raced evenly in his last trip for the show spot so he must be respected in this event.
Race 7
(2) NEWS WATCH took charge from the start and was nailed in deep stretch in his Meadowlands finale. Gelding appears to be in sharp form and gets the services of Mr. Brennan; can greet the cameraman for pictures. (1) DREAMFAIR MESA did not race badly in his last start at the Big M and now he moves to Yonkers and gets the luck of the draw; big threat. (8) WYNBERG COURAGE N put in a good run for the show spot last out; post hurts but he can grab a share of the purse.
Race 8
(2) DONAU goes for new connections and the 10-year old veteran can handle the rise in class and he was a good second at this condition three starts back; respect. (5) WESTERN BAYAMA took the pocket route on his way to victory recently; main danger. (1) TOWNSLIGHT HANOVER closed well to grab the placing in his last trip to the post; could be dangerous from the fence.
Race 9
(2) FLUFF ME UP leaves door number seven to the 2-hole. Gelding has tactical speed and he could pull off the upset if he gets a favorable trip. (5) ADAGIO DE LA TOUR has wheeled off two straight victories at this level; the one to fear. (1) ODYSSEY BLUE CHIP should do much better from the rail if he gets away cleanly.
Race 10
(6) NORTHERN SWIFT has put in two consecutive good efforts at the Big M and the mare is very capable of moving forward against these with a well-judged run. (4) NEON SKY N moves down in class and that should help her cause. (3) SUDDEN CHANGE N drops in class and she gets the luck of the draw; clearly not out of this.
Race 11
(5) DOJEA SOLO flashed good early pace in his last start. With that said it could be an indication he is ready to put his best foot forward. (4) TYBER TYKE gets serious class and post relief plus Brennan had other options but stays with this gelding; main danger. (2) ROCK N BLUE did not have the best of trips in his last start but he could wake up here with Bartlett at the helm.
Race 12
(1) TULLOW N did not fire in his last start but the gelding pacer is much better than his last one. Stays on the fence and he could be on the engine this time; win candidate. (5) KILLER MARTINI put in a nice run but was no match for the winner The Wall last out; big threat. (3) WARMINSTER A showed life in his last trip so moving up the ladder should not be a problem for this pacer; watch out.
