Race 1 – NW2 races or $27,000 lifetime

(2) EVEN LOUDER was a good second in her last start of 2019 and qualified effectively in preparation for her 3-year-old debut; Siegelman has driven well for this barn and this filly may be worth a look at a price. (4) UPTOWN LADY N came from well off the pace in those two Meadowlands starts and she’s clearly the one to beat but she hasn’t shown much early speed yet and that makes it tough to take a short price. (5) SUNRISE HANOVER never got close in her local debut but she lands in a slightly better spot tonight. (3) LADY NATASHA raced decently last week, her first start on Lasix.

Race 2 – NW7500 in last 5 starts

(7) FINNICK ODAIR toured the track last week from the eight hole and he lands outside again but this seems like a better spot for Bongiorno to use his early speed. (1) WATKINS is up a notch in class off the Ceraso/Stafford reclaim and the 13-year-old is feeling good now. (3) EXS AND OHS should be saving ground somewhere close to the pace and she can hit the ticket. (4) HASHTAGMADEYALOOK seems to fit okay at this level and he debuts for the Tirella barn tonight.

Race 3 – NW5000 in last 5 starts

(3) WORTHYOURATTENTION never got involved in her first start for the Gillis barn but this is seemingly a much better spot. (1) KEYSTONE CHARGER has been showing much better speed recently and lands the best post. (5) ALEXANDER HANOVER gets Bartlett in the bike tonight. (4) EI EI O has been looking better recently with the hobbles added.

Race 4 – NW10000 in last 5 starts

(1) ALWAYS A GOOD TIME returned to the Allard barn last week and absolutely jogged; trotter can take another here. (2) MURMUR HANOVER looks for three straight but he’s facing better and Bartlett was listed but went with the Harris trainee; he should be in line for a good trip, however. (5) TACO TUESDAY makes his seasonal debut off a winning qualifier. (4) INTEROVER has hit the board in her last two versus similar.

Race 5 – F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts **$10,000 GTD PICK-5 POOL**

(6) POPPY DRAYTON N showed improvement last week when dropped in class and now she lands at the basement level; if Kakaley can get her in play early the veteran will have a big chance. (1) THE LADY SHERIFF gets the best post for Bartlett/Banca and is certainly the most logical. (3) TYRONBETTORSELLA N shook free with good late pace last week and a similar trip and net similar results. (7) DAWN SHOOTER arrives from Ohio and joins the Allard barn.

Race 6 – NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime

(7) NORTH STAR IDEAL looked like she had plenty left defeating cheaper in her local return and she may be good enough to handle better. (1) SWEET SUE ships in for Burke off a series of decent efforts and she lands the best post. (3) CRANBERRY BRIE makes her local debut for Team Bongiorno and she hinted at some ability as a 3-year-old. (8) I’M VERY SPECIAL was a solid wire-to-wire winner last out but she moves all the way outside tonight.

Race 7 – NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime

(5) THAT’S INCREDIBLE qualified nicely at The Meadowlands, with a sub-27 final quarter, and she was Bartlett’s choice. (1) SO FRISKY was aggressively handled last out by Lachance and came up just shy; she would seem to have a live chance here from the best post. (4) MAJOR FROST picked up her game big-time in her last two over at The Big M. (3) WESTERN SECRET A has been a bit disappointing since arriving in the U.S. for Godinez; can she show some improvement?

Race 8 – NW5000 in last 5 starts

(2) TAKE A WISH has raced well here in the past and she returns locally into a very soft spot. (3) ANNAPOLIS HALL is probably best but it’s been a long time since the Schnittker trainee found the winner’s circle. (1) CHECKMATE HILL has some speed from the best post. (6) UVA HANOVER has really tailed off after an encouraging return to the races.

Race 9 – F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts

(2) PAMMY JO took the money and was a well-meant winner facing lesser; Drolet trainee may be sharp enough to handle these looking to take another. (3) BETABCOOL N gets some class relief and Bartlett returns in the bike. (6) ROSE RUN UPTOWNGAL fits well with these but needs to show more late. (1) SHEWEARSTHEPANTS draws best and should be able to land a share.

Race 10 – NW10000 in last 5 starts

(1) ADAGIO DE LA TOUR was a nice front-end winner last start at a generous price and the veteran French import can take another. (5) TIDQUIST is going well and can grind his way into the number. (4) SORTIE had little to offer last week in a quick mile; steady sort can land a share here, as can (3) TORKIL.

Race 11 – NW8 races or $100,600 lifetime

(6) CORAL BELLA came right off the bench with a big effort just missing and she deserves following up off that race. (1) SOMETHING REEL gave it a great try at 30/1 and now she gets major post relief. (4) FOOL ME AGAIN was a winner two back with Bartlett in the bike. (7) BIRCH ISLAND BETTY draws poorly again but is a major closing threat.
