Race 1
(2) HIPNUMBERONE moves back down in class and he does have the speed to be the boss over these. (5) VORST gets post relief and that might help his cause. (1) PARADISE SKIES did show signs of life last out and could have a say in the outcome.
Race 2
(6) LION BRAND was sharp in his Jersey finale missing glory by only 3/4 length; capable of moving forward. (1) CALL MY BROKER Sharp qualifier at Saratoga recently and the move to the rail can put this sophomore gelding right in the mix. (4) TOP OF THE LINE makes his 2017 debut and did not race badly in his two tries here in the fall; watch out.
Race 3
(5) TRIGGER FINGER was quite dull at the Meadowlands but now the gelding makes his return to Yonkers. At his best and with a favorable trip, he can get the job done. (1) BRICKMAN takes the plunge in class, gets post relief and Bartlett signs on to drive; big threat. (4) TALKING BLUES leaves the 7-hole for a cozy slot; don't overlook.
Race 4
(3) THREEUPTHREEDOWN flashed good speed in his last try and the trotting gelding appears to be heading in the right direction; gets the call. (6) SUNRISE AVENUE Based on his last two thirds she is knocking at the door; dangerous. (5) EYESEENOW was very game for the show spot recently; not out of this.
Race 5
(6) JOE LARRY N CURLY 4-year-old pacer has put in two game efforts and should appreciate the move to the half-mile oval. (4) MIRAMONTMAN came down the center of the track to grab the victory last time out; player again. (7) THE FIRE WITHIN was quite good at the Big M two starts back so the 7-hole should not be a problem; we shall see.
Race 6
(5) YOLO LINDY had some trouble approaching the half mile marker and raced evenly last out. Now this seems to be a better spot for her to get back into the winning groove. (7) DON LINDY was sent down the road in his latest for all the glory; consistent and dangerous. (1) GONEINAPUFFOFSMOKE makes his 2017 debut off a sharp qualifier at the Meadowlands last time around; beware.
Race 7
(3) COLONIAL ROAD did appreciate the drop in class last time around to miss the victory by 3/4 length; capable of getting the job done at his best. (4) CLASSIC AMERICAN N took charge and never looked back for the score last out at Freehold; can be a factor with these. (2) STONEBRIDGE ADAM will need a better trip to make an impact; quite possible.
Race 8
(2) INUKCHUK CHUCK late kick down the center of the track and lost the victory by a neck. Gelding has been close in his five outings this year; poised to move forward. (5) TYSON has wheeled off two straight victories at Dover Downs and the gelding has every right to pull off the hat trick. (1) CREDEVIE gets post relief and that should help his cause.
Race 9
(3) THREEDEE DELIGHT A leaves her Woodbine headquarters and appears to be a softer spot to take these to task for all the cash. (1) GADSDEN HANOVER Mare moves to door number one and could have a say against these. (2) GROUNDED's last try she did not get the job done. However she knows how to win so watch out.
Race 10
(2) PARTY ON THE RIVER Trotter was sharp in his last start and appears to be knocking at the door; ready for action. (6) ARRAKIS Gelding has hit the board in his last four tries; big player. (1) DYNAMIC EDGE was sent down the road in his last start for all the glory. Can make some noise despite the rise in class.
Race 11
(2) UF LARRY ALLTHEWAY rallied strongly to miss the victory by a neck last out. Gelding seems to be ready to greet the cameraman for pictures. (4) HEZABLUECHIPBOY N showed speed against better last time out so the drop in class can put this gelding right in the mix. (1) ZIGGY SKY can make serious noise with the move to door number one; watch out.
