Race 1
(5) NORTHERN ASSASSIN A was a game second last time out and he does fit with these if he is able to run back to previous start. (4) ROCK ICON should be right in the mix given his early speed. (3) CODE MEISTER seems to be knocking at the door based on his last four trips to the post.
Race 2
(5) FOX VALLEY STEFFEN was rallying nicely at the end of his most recent at the Meadowlands. Veteran could mow these down with a complete meltdown of the early leaders. (2) FLUFF ME UP raced evenly in his latest and he could prove a threat tonight if he is able to stay close. (1) SOUL TRAIN took charge from the rail last out at Saratoga on his way to victory and he retains the fence again.
Race 3
(5) DALI DELIGHT has good speed but she can also rate and make one run. Looms very tough here if she can mind her manners. (1) AWAKE MY SOUL did not race badly in her last try with a fast closing third-place finish. Could be dangerous from the rail where she did get the job done upstate three starts back. (3) SHESAIDHESAIDISAID might have been used up in the early stages last time around, but she is capable of making a quick turnaround.
Race 4
(1) MARTY MONKHOUSER A should find this group to his liking. Veteran has the rail and he seems to be the speed of the speed. (4) NEXT SUCCESS came wide turning for home and had to settle for the show spot in his recent trip at the Meadowlands. (5) BETTOREVER may be good enough to handle these based on his current form.
Race 5
(2) ADAGIO DE LA TOUR scored his second straight victory at this level, retains the 2-hole and Bartlett remains the pilot; the one to deny. (1) SHAWNEE BEAUTY moves up in class but she is very capable of putting her best foot forward. (3) DOG GONE LUCKY put in a nice effort at Freehold last time out plus he was a game second here two starts ago.
Race 6
(2) BEAST MODE makes his return to Yonkers with an inside post and tactical speed that should translate to a favorable trip so he is worth win consideration. (1) SWELLENDAM gets serious post relief and that should help his cause. (4) BULLVILLE KYLE will need a better setup in order for him to make an impact with these.
Race 7
(3) ER ROCK MY WORLD seems to be heading in the right direction and could be a handful if he gets away cleanly. (5) JK PRIDENJOY if he could return to his 12/8 start at Freehold he could be right in the mix. (1) SWIFT AS A SHADOW has wheeled off two straight victories against lesser company. Now he steps up off the reclaim, just a matter of whether he can repeat the effort for new connections.
Race 8
(1) P H SUPERCAM was a fast-closing third from door number seven last out and now he moves to the fence. Expecting improvement if he gets a better setup than he did in his last one. (5) INSPIRATION VIEW just got up for win honors at big odds last time out and he is in a good spot as any in here. (2) DONAU could be the likely favorite based on his two consecutive down the road victories.
Race 9
Veteran mare (5) ROYAL KNOCKOUT might be ready to move forward based on her last start finishing third. She has the positional speed to work out an ideal stalking trip. (1) POPPY DRAYTON N was nailed for the victory in her latest at Saratoga. She retains the fence and picks up 2018 leading driver Bartlett; the one to fear. (3) FOXY DAME N should do much better from the 3-hole and she does have early pace.
Race 10
(4) LIGHTNING ONMYFEET is knocking at the door and he stands to improve here with a better-timed run. (3) IDEAL TYSON A gets serious post relief and gets the services of Bartlett. (5) MASTER THE VIEW could have a say with these if he gets away cleanly.
Race 11
(5) LACHIE MAGUIRE N had to be used hard from the 8-hole and was uncovered throughout. Hopefully he will be well positioned and can surge down the lane to make tonight a winning one. (6) LETSCHASETHEDREAMN has done nothing wrong since coming from the land down under, so he must be considered despite the outside draw. (2) SCOTCH MCEWAN put in a good qualifier at Monticello on 12/19 and he just missed the victory here two starts back.
Race 12
(1) STORMONT CZAR A did show some early zip in his Meadowlands finale and now he makes his return to Yonkers. If he is able to get clear and dictate the fractions on a loose lead, he could greet the camera operator for pictures. (2) TWIN B SPEED DIAL did not have enough gas in the tank last out but he figures to be a big factor against these. (4) CHUMLEE A did not have the best of trips last out, but gelding knows how to find the winner's circle so he merits respect.
