Race 1
(5) CODE MEISTER took charge from the start on his way to an easy victory last out. If he can get away cleanly the rest will have to settle for minor awards. (8) TOUGH MUDDER was sent down the road in his recent try for all the glory. Post hurts tonight but he is very capable. (4) MANHATTAN BENNY could have a say with a better trip than in his last one.
Race 2
Veteran trotter (2) LUMINOSITY seems to be heading in the right direction and with a well-judged drive from Mr. Brennan they can greet the cameraman for pictures. (4) MUSCLE AVE wheeled off his second straight score recently down the road; main danger for the three-peat. (5) HIGH BLUE gets class relief and that could help his cause.
Race 3
(6) DONAU did not have the best of trips in his latest but he does catch a weak group and he should be the speed of the speed; win candidate. (5) BALI moves down the ladder in search of that elusive 2019 win; capable. (4) ROCKIN M showed good speed in both of his Freehold attempts; watch out.
Race 4
(5) UNBEAMLIEVEABLE leaves the 8-hole and she appears to be in as good spot as any in this event and she has the positional speed to grab an ideal stalking trip and take this if she is at her best. (2) TWIST OF FATE moves down in class and that should help her chances against these. (1) AMERICAN IMAGE draws good tonight and clearly she is not out of this by far.
Race 5
(1) TRIGGER FINGER should get a better trip than in his last start. Veteran will once again get the services of Bartlett; can boss these down the road. (3) SPORTS BETTOR did not fire in his last try but he can be right in the mix based on his tactical speed. (7) TALK SHOW put in a mild rally for the place spot last time out. Does not receive the best of the draw but he does fit with these; respect.
Race 6
(5) FAMEOUS WESTERN might have been used up in the early stages last time around but this veteran pacer does know how to get the job done. Could be tough to reel in if he is able to get away cleanly. (7) JOE HILL was sent down the road in his latest for win honors. Gets a tough post but with a good position early he could be a serious threat in the final stretch drive. (3) SKYWAY BOOMER will need a better trip than he did in his last two tries; possible.
Race 7
(6) PANAMANIAN HANOVER has showed promise in his last three starts here so there is an indication he can put his best foot forward; should be able to use his tactical speed to his best advantage; gets the call. (7) ADAGIO DE LA TOUR secured the rail slot on the front and never looked back to get the job done; can repeat despite the move to the far outside post. (1) FOX VALLEY STEFFEN gets serious post relief and that should help his cause; not out of this.
Race 8
(3) KAYS DELIGHT flashed good speed in her Meadowlands finale and now she moves back to Yonkers where mare has the most success. (2) VINTAGE BABE should find this group to her liking and could show move speed against these; threat. (1) DEWAR N SODA makes her 2019 debut, gets the rail and Bartlett has the assignment; consider.
Race 9
(4) SHADY CAROLINE had perfect cover and mowed them down for the victory in her last start. Mare is in a good spot as any in here and Brennan is sticking with her, so two straight is clearly not out the question. (1) QUITE A DELIGHT N rallied strongly to land down the show spot last out. Draws the fence so there is room for improvement; big threat. (7) QUEEN JOSEPHINE was nailed for win honors in her latest; could be right in the mix.
Race 10
(6) TRUE MUSCLE put in a good run in her Freehold finale and the mare also has excellent speed. If she gets away cleanly she clearly can pull off the upset with Bartlett at the helm. (4) CRITICAL MASS gets serious post relief and he does have tactical speed; main danger. (5) SHAWNEE BEAUTY closed fast to grab the show spot in her last try; do not overlook.
Race 11
(4) SEEL THE DEAL N did not have the best of trips in his last start but the good news is he does fit well in here and the pacing gelding closed strongly for the victory two trips ago. If he is at his best he can top these with a well-judged run. (8) NEXT SUCCESS was sent down the road in his last trip for win honors. Moves up in class and receives a tough post, but based on his last three outings he should contend. (3) CHIP WALTHER just held on for the score as the choice recently and he might control the tempo once again so he is a repeating threat.
