Race 1
(3) SEELEY MAN was sent down the road in his latest for all the glory. May be good enough to take another and Stratton has other options and sticks with the pacing gelding. (2) TOUGH MUDDER took charge in the stretch run but could not hold off a tough Pop Icon last out; threat. (3) MANHATTAN BENNY showed signs of life in his first attempt at Yonkers; could make his presence felt late.
Race 2
(5) SHAWNEE BEAUTY leaves the far outside slot and trotting miss is in a good spot as any in here. Could improve if she gets a better setup than she did in either of her last two. (1) ADAGIO DE LA TOUR gets another shot from the rail and it is good to see Bartlett back at the controls; certainly put this veteran in the mix. (4) TRIUMPHANTS CHIP is knocking at the door based on his last two tries and he did put in a good one at the Meadowlands last time out; consider.
Race 3
(6) PITTSTOP DANIKA did put in a mild rally for fourth money recently, so there might be an indication she is heading in the right direction and she catches a relatively weak field; gets the call. (4) ROLL WITH ANN has fine speed and she might be the one to catch with a clean getaway. (2) PHYLLIS JEAN gets serious post relief and that should help her cause; we shall see.
Race 4
(2) MILLIONDOLLAR WAVE should find this group to his liking and he draws well. Should get an honest pace to chase so he does stand to improve tonight. (1) CHANGE STRIDE N was third best in his latest and now he moves to the fence; factor. (3) TALK SHOW put in a sharp qualifier here on 1/11 for his 2019 debut; watch out.
Race 5
(5) ER ROCK MY WORLD seems to be on the improve based on his last start. Could prove a win threat tonight if he is able to stay close. (7) P H SUPERCAM is knocking at the door so he must be respected in here despite the outside draw. (6) I FOUND MY BEACH might have been used up in the early stages last out. Veteran figures to be a big factor if he is able to control the tempo.
Race 6
Philly invader (1) ALEXANDRIA HANOVER makes her return to Yonkers where her only win in 2018 was here and Brennan teams up with his main trainer Burke. She has a license to steal this if she can get clear and control the tempo. Trotting miss (2) PERFECT STICK is heading in the right direction based on her last three trips to the post; big threat. (7) GLOBAL REVOLUTION will most likely be closing late so he is worth consideration.
Race 7
Will go with Eight-year-old mare (6) EDEN PAIGE N to boss these down the road. She seems to be the speed of the speed, but the only question is can she clear from door number six? (1) FANCY CREEK JOLENE gets the luck of the draw and she has every right to put her best foot forward. Ohio shipper (2) PRETTY REAL DESIRE could find this group to her liking; capable.
Race 8
(1) MUSCLE AVE took charge right from the start on his way to an easy victory last time around. Now he moves up the ladder, but he is in solid form and Bartlett had other choices but sticks with the gelding. So if he is able to run back to that one he is going to be very tough indeed. (3) HIGH BLUE was late on the scene to get up in time for the victory recently and he should appreciate the inside draw; main danger. (4) FOX VALLEY STEFFEN gets post relief and that should help this veteran's chances in here.
Race 9
Eleven-year old pro (1) FAMEOUS WESTERN did not race badly in his latest and now he moves to the fence. Seems capable of getting loose and controlling the tempo from the start in this otherwise fairly paceless race. (7) ROCK ICON has wheeled off two straight victories. Moves up in class and post hurts, however the gelding can be right in the mix with these. (3) JOE HILL is moving in the right direction and gets the services of Bartlett; clearly he is not out of this.
Race 10
(2) MULTITASKR HANOVER was a good third in his last start. Trotter is moving up in class, but the good news is he catches a weak group of trotters and Bartlett has the assignment; expecting improvement if he is able to run back to his latest. (6) CONSOLIDATOR got the job done in her Dover finale and she does have good early trot; threat. (3) NO RECESS could not seal the deal at this level last time out but she must be respected against these.
Race 11
Based on his last two starts (1) MASTERSON looks to be the one to beat. Hopefully he can grab good position from the fence and Stratton was the pilot two trips ago when they just missed the score by a neck; choice. (2) O SUNDLAND will need a better trip than he did in his last try; capable. (3) FERNLEIGH REBEL N has fine speed but he seems to tire late, however the gelding must be respected with Bartlett at the controls.
