Race 1 - $12,500 Claiming
(2) BEYONDTHESILENCE N quickly put things together last week with a sharp pocket-sitting score and the Tritton trainee should easily be able to repeat. (6) NORTHERN ASSASSIN A was second best to the top one cutting the mile and they can be one-two again. (1) ROCK N ROLL LEGACY was third best to the top ones…why not again? (8) MASTER THE VIEW has been sharp at this level but unfortunately gets another horrible draw; perhaps he can pick off the rest.
Race 2 – NW7750 in last 5 starts
(1) QUICK DEAL has had his issues over the years but he’s fast when right; if in the mood the veteran can take these coast-to-coast. (5) SUGAR TOP showed improvement on the switch to the DiDomenico barn but he will have to work harder tonight to repeat. (3) SUPERIORCOURT trotted just evenly for a minor award in his local return and he can carve out another small share with Bartlett on the return drive. (2) BLUE AND BOLD may appreciate the change in scenery but beware that the Harris trainee has broken stride in his last two local appearances.
Race 3 – F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts
(5) EXOTIC DANCE may be a bit of a reach but the filly has shown some live moves in the past and she should be a very juicy price in a race with no standouts. (3) CRUISINWITHMYBABY does have some early speed in her arsenal which could set her up with a live trip. (1) SHES SPORTY A makes the most sense with Bartlett driving for the Harris barn but she hasn’t exactly been setting the world on fire recently and she’ll likely be overbet. (4) NORTHERN SWIFT has some good energy last week and gets some class relief here; player.
Race 4 – F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts
(3) FREEZE OUT has been underachieving all season but last week’s race was much better and the Bucci trainee can build off that effort. (5) DARK FORCE was a lame scratch last week but is right back in the box which is seemingly a good thing and Bartlett sticks with her but how short of a price are you willing to accept? (4) DEUCES FOR CHARITY never got involved as the favorite last out and she’s still an 0-fer this year but the Laterza trainee does fit with this type. (7) HURRICANE CALLEIGH has been razor-sharp and steps up off the Garcia-Herrera claim but the poor post does her no favors.
Race 5 – NW10000 in last 5 starts
(7) LIMERENCE gets a massive driver upgrade to Bartlett and he’s generally well-mannered and has good early speed; worth a look at his expected double-digit odds. (3) CHERRY PEEP was an open-length winner in her last two for Brennan/DiDomenico; obvious threat to take another. (1) BINGO QUEEN always has her moments at this level and the post relief helps. (6) BIGBOY ROSCO returns locally for Allard off a sharp score at Pocono.
Race 6 – NW10000 in last 5 starts
(2) TECHTOR HANOVER was gunned down on the wire last week but he’s too classy to pass on at this level. (1) BAMSKI hasn’t had the greatest of seasons but he finished well last week and should be in line for a good trip. (6) LETTUCEROCKTHEM A was a well-meant winner on the front end versus lesser for Stratton/Hudson and he’s good enough to string winning efforts together. (3) WESTERN BEACHBOY exits age-restricted competition and was Brennan’s choice.
Race 7 – NW5000 in last 5 starts
(6) BUNGALOW BILL N gets the services of Bartlett tonight which clearly makes the Vallee charge a serious player. (4) ART HISTORY woke up with a better effort last week and he can build off that race. (3) BEAST MODE is inconsistent but one of his better efforts will make him a player at this bottom level (1) MISSILE SEELSTER has races pretty well in his three local starts and I’m sure Siegelman will take full advantage of the rail position.
Race 8 – NW7500 in last 5 starts
(2) REVELRY dominated on the front end first out for Brennan/DiDomenico and I don’t see any reason why he can’t step up and repeat. (1) ON THE VIRG finally found his way to the winner’s circle last start and Bartlett gets the call tonight from the best post; main player. (4) CAMPORA N has looked better in his last couple for Vallee but he may be stuck chasing a rated pace up front; looks third best tonight. (5) COOL BLUES MAN paced a decent back half last week to pick up a small share.
Race 9 – NW7500 in last 5 starts
(6) SHANE ADAM has given way pretty weakly in the late stages in his last few but we know the Banca trainee is better than that and he seems capable of turning things around, at a halfway decent price with some good competition inside of him; potential value play. (4) MCARDLES LIGHTNING basically toured the track ion is last three from the eight hole while facing better; to say this is a better spot would be an understatement. (5) MACINTOSH N is another with class relief tonight and the Vallee-trained veteran has beaten better than these in the not-to-distant past. (3) KNOCKING AROUND has rallied willingly in is last couple.
Race 10 – F&M NW10000 in last 5 starts
(4) BELLATRICKS was a solid second best to a sharp winner after flashing her customary early speed then yielding to sit a trip; Virgil Morgan trainee should be aggressively handled again and can take this field the distance. (1) KAY’S DELIGHT faces softer tonight and from the best post; Auciello trainee looms the main threat. (2) TERROR AT NIGHT gets a nice driver upgrade to Stratton in her local return. (3) LK’S NANCY LEE has been just ‘okay’ in her last few and a similar effort can net her a small share.
