MEET STATS: 404 - 1130 / $2,179.00
BEST BETS: 54 - 96 / $177.60
Race 1
(5) N XPENSE shipped from Canada, had the eight hole, did nothing but was claimed by a higher-percentage barn; worth a long look in a race with questionable favorites. (1) KING ROYALTY cut the mile and was beaten by the pocket sitter last week, similar trip is likely. (4) WINDS OF CHANGE plunges to the basement for Banca but is tough to trust at a short price.
Race 2
(3) O U SEXY GUY gets Bartlett in the bike again and pops up with a good effort from time to time. (2) BOSS DU FOSSE has been erratic since arriving from France and is now in the for basement claiming tag but note he adds the trotting hobbles tonight which could help. (5) BLUE SWAN has burned serious money in two of his last three; use caution.
Race 3
(3) RAKSMACH N likely needed that last start out of town and returns locally into a pretty soft spot. (5) MARCED MAGIC ships back out east after a stint in the Iowa fair circuit for his midwest connections and he was racing well out there. (1) BYBY LANDON gets serious post relief and certainly is logical from this spot.
Race 4
(1) LINDYTHEFOURTEENTH is another Banca trainee dropping to the bottom and if you look a few lines back he jogged against comparable stock. (5) MACH ONE also gets some needed class relief and should respond. (7) MIDNIGHT DYLAN rallied well last week and we'll see if he stays sharp for his new connections; closing threat.
Race 5
It looks like (1) JACK VERNON only needs to behave himself to conquer these at a short price. (3) WARTECH was a solid winner in two straight for Allard and was claimed by Brittany Robertson, who is no slouch; main threat. (7) MAGIC NIGHT lands a tough outside post but was good last out at Philly.
Race 6
(1) DALI DELIGHT has clearly found a home at this level and the mare looks for four straight. (5) BELLA REGAZA pulled pocket last week losing valuable ground but still held gamely for second; Team Bongiorno trainee is sharp. (3) THANK THE BANK has a nice brush that needs to be timed right in order to be effective.
Race 7
(2) AMATEUR HOUR hasn't been that bad recently versus better and she drops in class facing a very soft group; Simons trainee is clearly the one to beat. (1) WINDY SPORT raced well last week at Pocono and looks like the main threat. (3) FRANNEY LOVE DAT has fallen on hard times but she's beaten much better than these in the past; check for a pulse tonight.
Race 8
(3) ITTY BITTY rallied well from off the pace last out at Philly and now she returns to Yonkers at a reduced level; I would expect Bartlett to get aggressive with her tonight. (2) NASHURALLABILITY faltered on the front end last week but she can be stalking from this spot and maybe last for a piece. (4) PASULTIMATEDELITE N has plenty of talent but is also erratic; she can win this but don't accept too short of a price.
Race 9
(6) MOOSE MADNESS has paired nicely recently with Stratton and the gelding finds a very soft NW10000 field. (1) BINGO QUEEN drops to her preferred level and can draw away from these if in the mood. (4) WILD SMILE has raced well in his last two starts with Marohn driving but he lacks the winning profile and is hard to take at 9/5 morning line.
Race 10
(6) AZUL POOL takes a needed drop in class, does have good gate speed and was Bartett's choice. (4) BLAISE MM HANOVER returns locally for good connections and he'll also be forwardly placed. (2) RANCOUSY outdraws his main rivals and should be a player here for Bongiorno.
