(6) DYNAMITE DUDE A was sent down the road last out on his way to an easy victory; can take another. (5) LUCKY MAN got the job done wire to wire last time around; post hurts, but he is capable. (4) BETTOR REASON N gets post relief and that might help his cause; maybe.
Race 2
(1) I C CAVIAR seems to have better success at this level and Bartlett has the return drive; the pick. (3) RAISE THE CURTAIN put in a mild bid to land the placing recently; threat. (4) WESTERN CREDIT flashed good speed at Pocono last time out; don't overlook.
Race 3
(1) YO CHEYENNE ROCKY was quite good in his latest and now with the move to the rail this gelding could be ready to greet the cameraman for pictures. (5) SPORTS LIGHTNING comes by way of Canada, has good speed and gets the services of Bartlett; main danger. (3) CHARGER BLUE CHIP should be right in the mix from door number three.
Race 4
(7) HOLIDAY PROMISE was sharp for place money last time out. Filly seems to be heading in the right direction and with a well judged drive she can make tonight a winning one. (1) MUZZYS MUSCLES moves back to NW2 ranks and he draws the fence; main danger. (3) FREE RANGE CHIKIN will need a better trip than in his last try; possible.
Race 5
(5) SHE SAID is knocking at the door based on her last two trips to the post; can take this at her best. (8) LITTLE JOKE has scored three straight victories but now must contend from the far outside slot; capable. (2) BARBIE HANOVER moves back inside where she has done quite well of late; watch out
Race 6
(2) BEATRICE Trotting filly gets serious post relief and good to see Holland is keeping the faith with this sophomore miss; gets the call. (4) PURE KEMP took them all the way to glory in her Mohawk finale; big threat. (5) SEASONED SAINT Broke turning for home in his Pocono finale but this trotter is better than his last flop, so don't count him out of this.
Race 7
(3) BOOGIEWOOGIEBRIAN just missed the victory last time out against tougher and this gelding should find these to his liking; the pick. (6) OUTRAGEOUS ART Easy score last time out for this veteran; the one to fear. (1) FLEM N EM N moves down in class and returns to the fence; watch out.
Race 8
(2) MIDNITE PASS is on the dropdown, gets post relief and Bartlett keeps the drive. All systems go for this gelding to take these to task. (1) LYONS AGAIN moves back to the rail where he beat lesser two trips ago. (4) COPPER COAST A was on the front most of the way but he was caught in deep stretch recently; not out of this.
Race 9
10-year-old mare (2) MACHO CHICK has seen better days, but the good news is she catches a weak group and good to see Bartlett with the assignment. At her best, she can boss these. (1) JOYFUL GAME moves down in class, gets the rail and Merton stays aboard; big threat. (4) CRACKER COFFEE put in a mild bid to land show money last time around; could have a say.
Race 10
(1) COWBOY TERRIER drops in class, has post relief and the trainer calls on Bartlett to get this gelding right back to the winner's circle. (5) ADONIS BAY just missed glory by only a half length last time out; fits with these. (7) SPORTSMANSHIP Gelding did not race badly in his recent trip to the post; don't overlook.
Race 11
(2) CRITICAL MASS Sophomore trotter is knocking at the door. With a fine-timed drive, this gelding can make tonight a winning one. (1) MERRY HANOVER is zero for 11 this year but now she moves to the fence and that might help her cause against these; we shall see. (5) LIFE WELL LIVED mild rally for show money in his latest; could be right in the mix.
Race 12
(1) MATT MAJOR did show some speed in his Saratoga finale. The last time this gelding took home top prize, he was on the fence three trips back. So if he returns to his winning form, the rest will have to settle for minor awards. (4) TWOMACSONEMACH could contend in here if given a favorable trip. (3) A SWEET RIDE Gelding should do much better from door number three; watch out.
