Race 2
(2) I C CAVIAR moves back to his winning level and Bartlett was on this guy for the win two trips ago; the pick. (1) PIG HUNT will need a better trip than in his latest; possible. (3) LIFE STRIKES just missed glory by a nose last time around; don't overlook.
Race 3
(3) OUTRAGEOUS ART was nailed for win honors recently. 10-year-old veteran has every right to make tonight a winning one. (4) CADILLAC PHIL Very game in his last try but could not get to the winner; big factor. (3) BET TOGETHER gets post relief and that might help his cause; we shall see.
Race 4
(4) ROETHBLISSBERGER makes his return to the Hilltop, where this pacer had good success here; worth a shot to boss these. (1) MIDNIGHT DYLAN N came to the fence to get the job done in his last start; player again. (2) FEELING CAM LUCKY showed life in his recent trip; could have a say in the outcome.
Race 5
(1) LITTLE JOKE is on quite a roll scoring her last two trips to the post. Now the pacing mare moves to the fence, so another wire to window is not out of the question. (2) SHE SAID did race well in her last try and she could move forward against these. (6) ROCK ME GENTLY was second best in her latest; not out of this.
Race 6
(2) CRITICAL MASS has been on the board 7 of 13 tries this year and this seems to be a perfect spot for this trotting sophomore to greet the cameraman for pictures. (5) ANNAPOLIS HALL put in a good effort in his last start; player. (1) SOMETHINGINTHENITE moves back to the rail and this might be what she needs to get back into the swing of things.
Race 7
(4) WAR DADDY moves to a cozy post and this pacer gets the services of Bartlett. With a favorable trip, he can make his return to the winner's circle. (3) CAMTURO ROCK was sent down the road last out for all the marbles, and he appears to be a winning threat again. (2) FLEM N EM N was on the engine most of the way but ran out of gas in deep stretch last out; factor.
Race 8
(2) TEMPSTER HANOVER moves back inside and the gelding has a win at this level; can take this with a comfortable trip. (1) BIG CITY JEWEL came charging down the center of the track to get the job done last time out and now he moves to the fence; appears to be dangerous again. (3) BOOGIEWOOGIEBRIAN gets post relief and this might help his cause; watch out.
Race 9
(7) ASHOK ACE has solid speed but she will have to get the job done from door number seven; possible with Bartlett at the helm. (5) CHANGE THE RULZ N has done well at her Freehold headquarters and could make some noise if given a nice trip. (2) FANTICIPATION moves to the 2-hole where this mare was a solid second on August 24th; beware.
Race 10
(5) LAUXMONT CAPRI seems to be heading in the right direction and just missed the score by a half length last out. At his best, he can boss these. (3) SECRECY just missed the victory by a neck last time around so he must be respected in this event. (2) JOE HILL did not race badly last time out at this level; don't overlook.
Race 11
(5) CAREN GARLAND blasted right out of the gate from the pole position and she never looked back to take home top prize last out. Trotting miss is in solid form, so despite the rise in class, she can take another if she minds her manners. (2) CRESURREY takes the plunge down in class, gets a cozy post with Bartlett at the controls; the one to deny. (4) LIFE WELL LIVED also gets post relief and Brennan is keeping the faith; must be respected.
Race 12
(6) NAUGHTY MARAVU N is on the dropdown and this gelding seems to handle the outside post. With a well judged drive, he can make tonight a winning one. (3) BETTING EXCHANGE is knocking at the door based on his last try. (1) MARTY MONKHOUSER A has speed and the rail; not out of this.
