Race 1
(2) I'M A GIFT went a nice effort in defeat last week and now drops to the basement; short price looming on this trotting-bred pacer in the opener. (3) OUR REGAL IDEAL N has the look of an underachiever for Vallee but could easily be second best in this spot. (5) WINNING DESIGN raced pretty well last week to be second best to a runaway winner.
Race 2
(2) RD BILLIE is clearly the most accomplished in here and the Garcia-Herrera trainee should have little excuse to fail from this spot. (1) WARRAWEE QUALLY gets needed post relief and should be much more involved. (5) MY SECRET SCOOTER hasn't been awful recently picking up small checks along the way and she should be able to land a spot underneath.
Race 3
(1) NORTHERN DALI was reclaimed by Temming and is stuffed back in the same class looking for six straight; with that said she's never seemed to be the most reliable mare out there and I wouldn't run to the window to key her at 2/5. (3) COOL DESIRE is an obvious speed threat from this spot. (4) MAYA SCAPE gets needed post relief after three consecutive eight holes, where she managed to get checks with late pace.
Race 4
(5) BOOGIEWOOGIEBRIAN is on top of his game now even showing versatility with off-the-pace efforts; sharp sort can score again. (3) DINNER GUEST is a shell of his former self but the Allard trainee is still a player at this basement claiming level. (8) HEADFORTHEBEACH was live in his local debut for Banca but he's stuck outside tonight.
Race 5
(3) EXIT CAM drops to the bottom and gets a strange and impossible to ignore driver change to Jason Bartlett. (2) CHEYENNE JEFFREY also drops in class and appears overdue for a better effort. (4) KINGS BARNS has raced very well in his last two from tough spots; big threat with the post relief.
Race 6
(4) MARTIAL BLISS could not sustain a two-move speed try last week but this seems like a softer spot. (5) BET TOGETHER didn't fire off the Garcia-Herrera reclaim but his prior form was solid. (6) BACKUP A finished willingly in his second start off the lengthy layoff.
Race 7
(4) GRACIE'S PARADE made a huge recovery off an early break last week and she stays at the same level off the DiDomenico claim. (2) GADSDEN HANOVER goes for her fourth trainer in the last month and she's a solid fit at this $20K claiming level. (3) UF DRAGONS QUEEN returns locally off an easy score versus lesser at Pocono.
Race 8
(1) DREAMZZZZ R FOR U beat a similar field last week from the pocket and the veteran draws best again; he's clearly the one to beat but won't offer much value. (8) SMART ROKKER blasted to the lead from the eight hole only to get collared by the top choice last out; why can't he fire out again? (4) COPPER COAST is up in class off the Garcia-Herrera claim and has been razor-sharp in his last two.
Race 9
(1) CHANGE THE RULZ N seems to lay over this field on paper and will have little excuse to fail. (2) THE RIGHT MOVE returns from Chicago to join the Allard barn where she's been facing much softer; connections must like her for some reason. (3) MORE THAN MANY may be leaving the gate from this spot looking to work out a live trip.
Race 10
(2) HALUSKY beat this type easily three back at odds-on. (6) WICK N returns from a brief vacation and is accustomed to facing better then these. (1) DANCIN HIL draws best, picks up Bartlett and should be able to land a share.
Race 11
(3) MACH PRIDE was a pretty gutsy winner last out for a barn that's going a bit better now; veteran gets a free ride at this level. (5) SHINOBU HANVOER hasn't done much recently but seems capable of better. (1) BETTOR ROCK ON N draws best and figures to be more involved tonight.
Race 12
(4) SAMMY THE BULL N seems overdue for a wakeup call and there are certainly no standouts in here; Brennan driving for DiDomenico is always a good angle. (5) RURAL ART moves in a couple of spots and could be a player with a live trip. (1) IRA CHIEF hasn't gone forward at all off the claim; use underneath.
