Race 1
(5) ANOTHER DAILY COPY returns locally with needed class relief and Bartlett will undoubtedly have him on the move early. (2) MCCLINCHIE N finally gets away from the eight hole and was close in his last couple from inside posts. (1) FAMEOUS WESTERN fits here but has just two wins over the last two years.
Race 2
(5) PINE BUSH ROSE gets Stratton back in the bike and that team picked up a check in NYSS action recently; she seems as good as any in this wide-open affair. (4) MY COUNTRY BOY hit the board in his last two local starts with Brennan driving. (2) HEY JUDY JUDY has been third best in three of four.
Race 3
(3) STRIKING ENCORE has been a good second in all three starts since arriving locally and it's time to take the next logical step. (4) MIKEY LIKES IT has been very sharp out of town and that form should translate well here. (1) NORTHERN CREDIT hiked to this level and folded badly on the engine; he gets another crack from the best post, but maybe from slightly off the pace tonight.
Race 4
(5) MR QUAKER was a good second last week with both early and late speed; Team Bongiorno charge deserves top billing off that effort. (3) VATANNA ships in for good trotting connections but her current form has been underwhelming. (1) DEO broke before the start last week and the French import may be cautiously handled tonight; use underneath.
Race 5
(5) SORTIE has always had plenty of ability and looks to finally be putting it together; repeats. (4) ANNOPOLIS HALL gets that important driver change back to Stratton. (2) SOUTHWIND CRUZE moves to the Jenn Bongiorno barn; improves off last week's effort?
Race 6
(5) ADAGIO DE LA TOUR was very stubborn in defeat after facing pressure most of the way last out; Banca-trained French import may have found a home at this optional $30K claiming level. (2) TOBER steps up in class after finally winning and clearly he can go with these. (1) MR POWERS raced evenly to be third best last week and can do the same thing tonight from a similar spot.
Race 7
(1) TENACIOUS ONE A returns locally with major class relief and Stalbaum will likely be sending this one down the road. (5) THAT'S MY OPINION returns locally off a confidence-boosting win at Monti and he gets Bartlett in the bike. (2) INDTY INGOT was backed up by bad cover last week and paced home okay; he can land a share from this inside post.
Race 8
(3) LUCIANO N took the money last out with the post relief but didn't fire; maybe the fresh set of hands tonight can help his cause. (1) BILLS FELLA returns to Brennan and seems the one to beat. (2) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN has been better recently but still hasn't won in a while and now is off almost a month; use caution.
Race 9
(1) CHAPTER TOO was Bartlett's choice of three, including a Banca trainee, and the mare will likely be controlling the action. (4) THE LAST CHAPTER never fired with his best last out; prior wins were good. (7) NEWCASTLE has good speed and maybe he can find an early seat at a price.
Race 10
(2) PACING MAJOR N faltered in the late stages last out but those were a couple of good rivals that collared him; Tritton trainee is way overdue. (5) HUG THE WIND N never got involved from the eight hole last week but that won't be the case tonight; big player. (3) ABNER THE GREAT had been racing well prior to that recent sick scratch.
