Best Bet: MR QUAKER (2nd)
Spot Play: JEWEL LEHIGH A (6th)
MEET STATS: 164 - 824 / $1,205.80
BEST BETS: 22 - 76 / $103.70
Race 1
(4) MR HASANI N showed life at this level last out and he has every right to put his best foot forward with a favorable trip. (2) WINDSONG JACK should fit well against these and he does have tactical speed. (1) GRAND MASTER flashed speed in his latest and should be right in the mix from his rail slot.
Race 2
Consistent trotter (4) MR QUAKER has seven wins the most of any in here. He could pounce and score over this group if he brings his A-game to the table. (6) GEMOLOGIST was sent down the road in his Pocono finale for all the glory so he appears to be a big threat for the repeat. (2) CHASIN DREAMS rallied strongly to nail down the placing recently; do not overlook.
Race 3
(3) CERTIFIED IDEAL did not have enough gas in the tank last time around but clearly she is the speed of the speed; win candidate. (5) PITTSTOP DANIKA put in a solid effort for win honors in her last start so she does merit respect in here. (2) THANK THE BANK has tactical speed and retains door number two; factor.
Race 4
(1) AMERICAN STEELE is knocking at the door and moving to the fence should help him get his first score of the year. (3) HOLY KOLY put in a game effort last out missing the victory by a neck; consider. (6) GOT NO MONEY HONEY should find these to his liking but he must overcome the outside slot; capable.
Race 5
(2) I WIN HANOVER did not race badly last time around. Gets a better draw and Brennan has the call; win candidate. (5) BROADWAY CREDIT took the pocket route on his way to an easy victory recently at Philly; main danger. (4) THE LIONKING AS beat lesser company wire-to-wire last out; player.
Race 6
(1) JEWEL LEHIGH A moves up in class but retains the fence. With the right trip, she could greet the camera operator for pictures. (2) SKIPPIN BY tried badly in the stretch run last out but now she moves to the 2-hole and that might help her chances in here. (7) MEDUSA got the job done at this level last time out and she merits respect despite moving to the outside.
Race 7
(2) BUGGER BRUISER gets a better draw, has fine speed and gets leading driver Bartlett; the pick. (3) BALI will need a better trip than in his latest; capable. (6) VAPOUR N was second best in his Philly finale; watch out.
Race 8
(8) DEMOCRACY N gets a tough post tonight however, he did show life when moved to this level and it is good to see Mr. Bartlett at the controls. If he brings his A-game to the table, the rest will have to settle for minor awards. (1) ZOEEZ BOY HENRY gets serious post relief and this should help his cause; big threat. (3) DOJEA SOLO was a game third in his recent outing so he does like this condition; not out of this.
Race 9
(1) MR POWERS was facing Open foes upstate last time around and now he is back at Yonkers where he has the most success; choice. (5) EXPLOSIVE RIDGE gets class relief in here and Bartlett returns on the gelding where they teamed up for a victory on August 19th; main danger. (3) LILYS SWAN POND did not fire in his last try but he does fit with this group; consider.
Race 10
Will take a shot with (1) PRICELESSPOSSESION to put it all together. Gets post relief and she does have good speed to grab a winning position in the early stages; the pick. Consistent trotter (6) ONLY PASSING THRU has been on the board in all of his ten trips to the post this year; his tactical speed makes him solid contender. (8) SORTIE came very wide at the quarter pole to grab the lead and he kept on going to get the job done in his Pocono finale; can repeat despite the move to door number eight.
Race 11
(1) LOVINEVERYMINUTE gets serious post relief and that should help his cause against these; will be tough to reel in. (3) TOUCHAMATIC moves down the ladder off a game third last time out. (5) ALWAYS GIGGLING has two second-place finishes in a row so she is clearly not out of this.
