Yonkers: Thursday 9/13 Analysis

Best Bet: RED WIES AND BLUE (2nd)
Spot Play: SCARLET CHASER (4th)
MEET STATS: 163 - 814 / $1,185.00
BEST BETS: 22 - 75 / $103.70
Race 1
Pacing mare (7) ALWAYS A VISION flashed good speed in her last try and she might be able to control the tempo against this so-so group. (2) THANK THE BANK took charge at the three-quarter pole on her way to victory recently so clearly she is the main danger. (5) JOHNS ONE DESIRE is knocking at the door based on her last two outings.
Race 2
(2) RED WIES AND BLUE gets a better draw and that might help her cause; worth a shot. (5) AMERICAN STEELE showed life in his latest and he could make some noise. (4) MY COUNTRY BOY makes his first attempt at Yonkers and he might like it here.
Race 3
(1) COMMUNICATOR draws the fence where this veteran did get the job done at the Red Mile four starts back and it is good to see Bartlett with the call. (4) ROCK N BLUE was second best in his last start so he does have every right to put his best foot forward. (2) LOTS OF LOVIN gets post relief and that should help his cause.
Race 4
(6) SCARLET CHASER leaves the 8-hole and that is a good sign since this pacer was quite good prior to his last flop. There is plenty of hope against these. (7) CADILLAC PHIL was sharp for the victory in his last trip; post hurts but he is capable. (1) MR MATCH ON BEACH retains the rail slot and he did show life last time around; not out of this.
Race 5
Consistent trotting filly (2) STRIKING ENCORE is sharp, fast and moves to door number two; the pick with Bartlett at the helm. Two down the road victories for (1) NORTHERN CREDIT and he stays on the rail; main danger. (5) SPARTAN fits with this group and he could have a say in the outcome.
Race 6
(2) DEMOCRACY N takes a good drop in class and veteran does have tactical speed. With the right trip, he can take these to task for the score. (1) SIMPLY SUSATIONAL N has put in three good efforts in a row and he gets post relief; big threat. (3) PERFECTLY CLOSE closed well from post eight to grab fourth money and now the gelding moves up in class, but he gets a better draw; watch out.
Race 7
(3) JAG OUT ran out of gas last time out but she seems to be the fastest of these; gets the call. (5) SHEEZA SHARK N will need a better trip then her last start in order to best these; capable. (1) ELLA MICHELLE A gets serious post relief in her first start at the Hilltop; threat at her best.
Race 8
(7) SGT PAPA DADDY showed signs of life in his last start so there is room for improvement to get the job done against this group. (3) TRIPLE SEELSTER just held on for win honors last time out and he is very consistent; main danger. (2) FEARLESS LEADER N is knocking at the door based on his last three tries; do not overlook.
Race 9
(4) MR QUAKER blew by the competition last time out for all the glory and now the sophomore moves up the scale. He seems to be in winning form and has hit the board 13 of 17 tries this year; gets the call. (2) BEATRICE has done quite well in her last four starts and she is clearly a threat in here. (5) CHASIN DREAMS did not fire in his latest but he does fit in here.
Race 10
This could be a perfect spot for (5) OUTKAST BLUE CHIP to put it all together. He can boss these with a well-judged run. (3) RURAL ART gets post relief and that should help his cause; threat. (1) DIAMOND COWBOY raced evenly in his last start to grab third money; not out of this from the rail.
