(3) UNION MAN HANOVER moves down the ladder and gets post relief; plenty to like. (5) MEETBEHINDTHEBARN fits well in here and could contend with these if given a favorable trip. (4) CHEYENNE OXE missed glory by a nose in his Philly finale; watch out.
Race 2
(4) WINTER MINT was sent down the road in his recent trip at Saratoga for the victory. Sophomore is sharp and has every right to take another. (2) SHIVERED took charge from the bell and never looked back in his Meadowlands finale; player. (3) ROYAL CASANOVA is 0 for 7 this year but seems to be heading in the right direction; not out of this.
Race 3
(5) BIG MAN EV is on a roll scoring his second straight victory last out. Trotter can keep on his winning ways if he minds his manners. (7) DWS REVENGE got the job done wire to window at Vernon last time around; post hurts but he is capable. (4) ANNAPOLIS HALL showed life in his latest at Monticello.
Race 4
(5) CRESURREY is back at Yonkers where this trotter was a game second two trips ago. With the right trip he can greet the cameraman for pictures. (2) ZACKS ZOOMER took the pocket route on his way to glory last out; threat again. (3) TOP FLIGHT ANGEL did not race badly in his last try upstate.
Race 5
(4) EYE OFA TIGER AS Sharp down the road last out at Monticello and this 3-year-old gelding has done nothing wrong this year; the one to deny. (6) STICK WITH ME KID could not get to the top choice last out but is a key player in here. (2) SUCH AN ANGEL Easy victory at Pocono last time around and could be right in the mix.
Race 6
(1) NEON LIGHTS was very keen for win honors last out at Monticello. Sophomore retains the rail and could boss these down the road. (4) MONEY MACINTOSH was tough in the pocket and got the job done in his latest upstate; main danger. (6) TEXICAN has hit the board in his last five tries; must be considered in all the exotic slots.
Race 7
(8) WRAPPED TO GO has put in two sharp efforts in a row and the mare catches a weak group; post hurts but she can get the job done over these. (3) CANACO STAR has seen better days but maybe her last try could move her forward; we shall see. (2) NORTHERN DALI was put up for the win last time out. She needs a favorable trip to be a factor in here; maybe.
Race 8
(9) UPFRONTWHOSURLADY Mare put in a mild rally for fourth money last time out and now she gets the second tier; capable of returning to her winning ways. (1) ARABELLA J gets a better post to make some noise in this event. (8) GLENFERRIE BRONTE N is much better than her last start but despite staying in the 8-hole it's good to see Bartlett keeping the faith.
Race 9
(1) LACHIE MAGUIRE N finally receives post relief and gets class relief; tonight could be the night he takes his first victory of 2017. (8) ROCK TO GLORY is another that moves down in class but will have to get it done from door number 8; possible. (4) JK HEAVEN SENT You have to go back to May 4th when this gelding was a sharp second here; don't overlook.
Race 10
(1) SMART ROKKER did not fire in his latest but gelding is much better than his last flop; all systems go for him to boss these. (2) NAKED CITY has speed and with a favorable trip he can be right in the mix. (5) SURE FIRED BET takes the plunge in class and Bartlett stays in the bike; not out of this.
Race 11
(3) MILLWOOD FAITH N broke at the start last time around. Maybe this mare will show speed against these so she has the right to put her best foot forward. (1) LIVE ODDS was dull last out but two trips back she was a fast closing third; big threat from the fence. (8) BROWN BRINNY was late on the scene to grab the placing recently and despite the move to the 8-hole she could contend.
Race 12
(2) WE THINK ALIKE is knocking at the door based on his last start at Saratoga. Good to see Bartlett with the assignment so the gelding could take this at his best. (5) THE LUNCH PAIL did put in a mild rally for the fourth spot last time out and drops in class; dangerous. (3) PERSEVERANT did show some speed in his recent try; don't overlook.
