(3) ARTMAGIC was sharp in his latest to just miss by a head; ready to put his best foot forward for win honors. (4) CONCUR could get involved with a better trip. (6) ACTING OUT broke at the start in his recent outing; Simons returns in the bike so watch out.
Race 3
(1) LITTLE MERMAID N came close to victory by only a neck last out; seems to be heading in the right direction; threat at his best. (5) CASE SOLVED has good tactical speed and is knocking at the door; dangerous. (2) EAGLE MOLLY gets class relief; don't count her out of this.
Race 4
(1) SADIES PLACE made her move on the rim to come short of victory by a nose; gets the job done tonight from the fence. (6) STIRLING BREEZE needs to revert to her game performance on July 23rd; Brennan stays aboard. (2) BELLA NOCHE is 0 for 17 this year but could be right in the mix if given a favorable trip.
Race 5
(1) FIRSTCLASSFLIGHT Three game efforts in a row indicates this mare is ready to fire her best; the pick. (7) DEREK DELIGHT has sharp speed; post hurts but she will most likely be on the engine. (2) ART IDEAL ships in from Philly with some early zip; watch out.
Race 6
(4) BEACHES DE VIE Juvenile is seeking his first pari-mutuel victory; was pretty good in his last two trips and he can boss this group. (5) TRAVEL PLAYLIST unbeaten in his only two starts makes this guy a big threat. (7) AUTOTUNE HANOVER made a great recovery for the fourth spot after a mild break on turn one at Batavia; not out of this.
Race 7
(5) ROLL WITH FRED might have pulled the trigger too soon in his recent trip to the post; good enough to return to his winning ways with MacDonald in the bike. (4) JOE LARRY N CURLY got back on track with an easy victory at Batavia on August 9; main danger. (1) FINE DIAMOND has hit the board in all of his five tries but is still seeking his first pari-mutuel score; maybe.
Race 8
(7) BLUSH HANOVER was on the rim at the three quarter pole but had nothing in the stretch run last out; with different tactics and Brennan with the assignment, she can put it all together against these. (3) MURRAYFIELD raced evenly in her latest; could have a say in the outcome. (4) IDEAL A LITTLE was sent down the road last time around for all the glory; beware again.
Race 9
(4) GRACE SEELSTER just held on for the victory last time out. Pacing miss has the speed to boss these down the road again. (3) SWEET TIME Pennsylvania invader might find the half-mile oval to her liking; main danger. (1) ISLAND VIEW retains the rail slot and showed life against lesser company; not out of this.
Race 10
(5) LENNON BLUE CHIP made a nice bid to only miss by a head last time around; if he could go back to his June 29th trip, it could be game over for the rest of these. (2) ONTHECLOCK HANOVER rallied strongly to nail down the show spot recently; big player. (7) REPORT FOR DUTY N did not have the best of trips last out but he is capable of getting back on the right track.
Race 11
(2) IDEAL RACE Mild rally for the show spot in his latest; he is knocking at the door and has every right to make tonight a winning one. (1) JUST THAT might go to the lead just like he did on July 9th; threat. (8) SOMEPLACE SPECIAL took the pocket route home for the victory last time around; post hurts but could contend with these.
Race 12
(7) BAZOOKA TERROR should get a much better trip than in her last try; pounce and score. (4) EYRE HOSTESS N She closed well to grab the show spot last time out; major factor despite the rise in class. (5) CRACKER COFFEE also put in a late rally for third money last week; not out of this by far.
