Race 1
(1) NORTHERN DALI came outside turning for home and took top prize last out. She now moves to the fence and this mare has the right stuff to take another. (3) COOL DESIRE flashed good speed but did not have enough gas in the tank; player. (2) LARA gets serious post relief and good to see Brennan at the helm; watch out.
Race 2
(1) MACS SECURE was nailed for win honors in her last trip to the post. Mare seems to be heading in the right direction and is poised to boss these with a well-judged drive from Mr. Sears. (3) PERFECT TRUTH Plainridge invader has tactical speed to be a factor. (6) NIC NAC PATTY MACH showed some signs of life last out and she could have a say in the outcome.
Race 3
(4) WRAPPED TO GO leaves the 8-hole for a better slot. She should fit well against these if given the right trip; gets the call. (3) WARRAWEE QUALLY comes by way of Pocono and was a good second two starts ago; threat. (1) HEAVENS LEGACY retains the rail but will have to step it up to make an impact in this event; maybe.
Race 4
If you toss out his last two tries, (2) JK ALLNITELONG knows how to get the job done based on his June 20th victory at this level; worth a shot. (6) BIG CITY JEWEL moves down in class off a nice third-place finish last time out. (1) IM THE REAL MAJOR missed the score by a length-and-a-half last time around, so the rail slot should help his cause; we shall see.
Race 5
(4) AMERICAN FLIGHT gets serious class relief as he seeks his first score of the year. At his best he can greet the cameraman for pictures. (2) PARKLANE EAGLE should fit well from the 2-hole if given a favorable trip. (1) TWOMACSONEMACH makes his first start at Yonkers and the rail could move this gelding forward.
Race 6
(1) TEMPSTER HANOVER is knocking at the door based on his last start. Gets post relief plus Brennan has the assignment; the pick. (7) UF ROCKIN DRAGON took charge at the half-mile marker and never looked back. The post hurts but he is very capable. (4) NOTHIN FANCY put in a mild rally for fourth money recently; not out of this.
Race 7
(3) THE SPY was dull in his Philly finale. Gelding now moves back to Yonkers against a weaker group than he has been facing; gets the call. (1) JUSTIFIED gets serious post relief plus moves down in class; threat. (6) STONEBRIDGE TONIC came up the rail to get the job done last time out. Tough post tonight but he is not out of the question for two straight.
Race 8
(6) MR BLISSFULL showed signs of life recently. Gelding has hit the board 10 of 20 trips this year, so he does know how to get himself back to the winner's circle; player. (3) CHEYENNE REIDER could be a factor if he gets the right trip. (2) STIMULUS PLAN moves back to door number two where he was a sharp second two tries ago; watch out.
Race 9
(3) DEWAR N SODA was sent by Brennan down the road last out for all the glory. Mare seems to be in winning form, so two in a row can be in the cards. (2) GADSDEN HANOVER was sharp in the pocket but could not get to the winner in her last trip to the post; contender. (7) KAMWOOD LAUGHTER N has scored her last two in a row, but now she gets a tough draw in hopes to make it the hat-trick; capable.
Race 10
(5) HALUSKY is very consistent; he just missed the victory in his last start at Pocono. If this 4-year-old receives the right trip, the rest will have to settle for minor awards. (3) BETTORS GLASS took home top prize via the pocket; major player. (1) LONE SURVIVOR was on the engine most of the way but ran out of gas in deep stretch recently; don't overlook.
Race 11
(5) CAPOZZO leaves the far outside slot seeking his first victory of the year. Good to see Brennan stays with this 6-year-old. With a fine-timed drive he can put this one back in the winner's circle. (1) MIDNIGHT LIGHTNING gets the rail post and that could move this gelding forward; threat. (2) DALTON DID IT took the pocket route on his way to glory against lesser company last out.
Race 12
(1) ALL DOWN THE LINE moves down the ladder and he does have tactical speed; primed to boss these at his best. (3) JK HEAVEN SENT beat lesser company in his latest; must be respected despite the rise in class. (2) IM A GIFT draws well and Brennan is back in the bike; not out of this.
