Race 1
(2) THAT'S MY OPINION shows some good recent races versus $30K claimers at Pocono and the gelding just looks a bit better then these. (5) BULLVILLE KYLE usually prospers at this level and must be included. (4) DIABANDO gets a little post relief and could be more involved.
Race 2
(3) FLAMMABLE was far back in his debut for new connections upon shipping from Canada to Pocono but that was a fast mile in a likely needed start and he may be able to show more tonight. (2) ARMAGEDON SEELSTER has been close in 5 of 6 career starts. (1) GIRLY COCKTAIL gets post relief in her local return but needs to show more late.
Race 3
(3) LETTUCEROCKTHEM A was hounded throughout last week and did tire late but he's been facing tons better than these and the veteran looks like he should jog tonight. (5) KEPT UNDER WRAPS A has good early speed which can set him up for a nice trip. (8) A BETTOR HAT gets post relief but is stuck all the way outside; consider underneath.
Race 4
(6) APERFECTRUBY had good speed at both ends last week for proven connections and she deserves a long look off that effort. (1) COWBOY HALL ships in off a win, draws best and picks up Sears. (2) AMERICAN STEELE can be expected to be close to the pace throughout and can land a share.
Race 5
This looks like a spot for (2) NATIONAL SEELSTER to take control from the outset and go coast-to-coast. (6) ARI ALLSTER got stuck behind a tiring horse last week and finished evenly once clear; maybe he can sneak into the number at a halfway decent price. (3) SHOW THE FASHION gets post relief and could be stalking the top choice from the pocket.
Race 6
In a tough-to-figure race, (4) BEACH CREDIT has looked decent in recent starts at Pocono, picks up Stratton upon arrival and should be a good price. (2) VIA LATTEA IT is a nice-looking horse who does seems to have ability for Svanstedt. (5) CRUISING IN STYLE gets Bartlett in the bike for the Harris barn; good combo.
Race 7
(2) VINTAGE BABE was nailed late by the sharp pocket-sitter last week and the mare deserves another chance to seal the deal. (1) BROWN BRINNY gets class relief and draws best; obvious threat. (4) DONGAL RUNDLSCRK N will break through eventually but does need to show more late.
Race 8
(2) KEYSTONE CHARGER may be better suited from off the pace as he's closed willingly in his last two; top billing. (1) LIFE WELL LIVED seems to do best with Bartlett in the bike but he won't offer much value from this spot. (6) MERRY HANOVER drew off late off a good trip last week and will be a good price again.
Race 9
(1) FOXY DAME N finally lands an inside post which should make her job much easier tonight. (5) MORE THAN MANY has raced well with Sears at the controls and could sneak into the number. (7) ALWAYS A VISION drew off easily last week to beat cheaper; mare may have to work harder tonight but does seems capable of competing with this type.
Race 10
(6) TORKIL hit town two back, went off at 3/5 but broke at the start. Last week he was completely ignored and was a well-meant winner at 16/1. DiDomenico trainee seems sharp enough to repeat versus this competitive field. (5) JOEY PRO was dead-game taking his last two at Pocono and looks like a player here. (7) ON THE ROPES clearly has ability as he was the 3/5 favorite in the Dexter Cup at Freehold and the Svanstedt trainee rallied well last out in a NYSS event; post hurts, however.
Race 11
(2) IN THE HUDDLE returns locally and has raced well with better than these in the past; gelding draws well and with his good speed he figures to get the jump on these. (5) YS LOTUS has always been a bit inconsistent but he should go well from this spot. (6) THE LUNCH PAIL has been closing well recently.
Race 12
(4) AMERICANPRIMETIME returns to Yonkers and we know he's fast enough to easily handle these. (1) ROCK THE NITE ships from the Meadows, joins the Andrew Harris barn, draws best and has Bartlett driving; obvious player. (3) HIGHVIEW CONALL N closed well last out chasing a big favorite home and he could be a late threat again.
