Race 1
(2) MAC'S SECURE shipped in last week and had no realistic chance from an outside post versus better; from this spot the mare should be close enough to strike. (6) VALENTINA DE VIE has been kind of slow to get going this season but she's raced well with better in the past. (1) VICTORIA MAY N debuts for Surick off the claim and draws best while picking up Barteltt but she'll be way overbet.
Race 2
(1) STORMUNN has quietly had a very nice career in the Kerin Warner barn and now she resurfaces with Banca at the basement conditioned level; classy mare can take these coast to coast. (3) LEGAL ENDORSEMENT had a tough trip in her local debut; consider. (5) POKERFACE didn't get involved last out in a weak field but I suspect she's better than that; use on the bottom of the ticket.
Race 3
(6) SAMMY THE BULL N drops all the way to the basement and should find a way to beat these. (2) B B SMASH has been racing well out of town and gets a nice driver upgrade to Zeron,. (4) DRIVE EM COWBOY will likely be firing from the gate with Cito.
Race 4
(1) CANACO STAR is reunited with Bartlett and draws best; veteran is the one to beat from this spot. (6) AMERICAN ALIVE debuts for Bamond off the claim and she's been sharp. (3) CAVIART CATARENA was an odds-on winner from a similar spot two back.
Race 5
(7) DINNER GUEST has loads of back class and he's reunited with Sears; I would expect him to be on the move early. (1) BLUE STRIKE moves all the way inside and has the speed to protect rail position. (5) BET TOGETHER is proven at this level and was second best to a strong winner last week.
Race 6
(4) GALACTIC GALLEON N has been sharp and now gets class and post relief for Vallee; poor win record over the last two seasons is a slight concern in this competitive field however but he's still worth a try. (2) DREAMZZZZ R FOR U beat one notch better two back from this post; Bartlett sticks. (7) TRIPLE SEELSTER was very good two back with Zeron driving; closing threat.
Race 7
(1) ROYAL KNOCKOUT doesn't win that often but the veteran mare is always competitive with this type and she may be the best price of the contenders. (2) MILLWOOD FAITH N returns locally at a reduced level and picks up Bartlett. (8) DEUCES FOR CHARITY has had good local success versus better in the past; only concern is the poor post.
Race 8
(6) R D BILLIE has been sharp in all recent for the team of Garcia-Herrera and MacDonald, which has done good things all year. (1) DANDY'S BEAUTY was close up last week from a similar spot. (7) VELOCITY VESPA drops in for a tag off a nice win last out but it may not be that easy to make the lead from this spot.
Race 9
(3) IM DRINKIN DOUBLES has been right there in his last four with only one win to show for it; his early speed should set him up for a winning trip. (6) KIWI IDEAL N has been good in his three starts off the Kevin Lare claim. (2) VILLAGE BEAT has seen better days but the oldtimer does return locally off a win and Bartlett drives.
Race 10
(2) MEETYOUATMIDNIGHT is back in the familiar hands of Bartlett and should be the one to catch. (4) ROCK ICON returns locally off a failed try out of town and he was aggressively handled versus P H Supercam when last seen here. (1) UNION MAN HANOVER is up a notch in class of a win and the Milici trainee draws best again.
Race 11
I've never really been a fan of (6) CARTOON DADDY but he's been razor sharp in his two starts off the Allard claim. (4) BLADE SEELSTER is another who's been very sharp and he goes for another new barn tonight. (3) CHACHING HANOVER drops in for a tag for Burke and it's hard to say where he belongs but he does appear to have some talent; price should be good.
Race 12
(2) ANALYZE had good pace at both ends of her mile last out in her local return and the Team Buter mare should be in line for a live trip from this spot. (3) SOUTHWIND ROULETTE gets some class relief but she seems vulnerable late. (1) SCOOTIN FOR JOY has the talent but is an erratic type; she goes for another new barn tonight and could land a share with a smooth journey.
