Race 1
(7) FOCUS POWER goes for yet another new barn via claim and he has the speed to overcome the poor draw; gelding looks as good as any in this questionable field. (1) FINAL JUSTICE has shown improvement since dropping to this basement claiming level. (2) SPORTING THE LOOK has been treading water recently but his best can take this.
Race 2
(3) MEDIA QUEEN N keeps Kakaley in the bike and now gets needed post relief; upset potential. (1) UPFRONTWHISURLADY goes to Banca via claim, draws best and is a logical odds-on favorite. (2) SHE SAID was second best last week and this barn has been good with limited starters.
Race 3
(3) GOLD STAR DYNASTY debuts for Allard via claim and draws well enough in this weak field; gets the call. (8) WRAPPED TO GO has done nothing off the Surick claim but at least she had a bit of an excuse last week getting shuffled; Bartlett should be firing from the gate. (2) BULLVILLE BREN was decent last out and a repeat effort should land her a share.
Race 4
(3) JUSTIFIED has back class, gets post relief and a very interesting driver change to Mark MacDonald, subbing for Eric Abbatiello; lots to like here. (1) VICEROY HANOVER has raced decently in his last three local efforts and he draws best here. (6) LONE RAIDER loomed for more but flattened out facing better last week; he must be considered hailing from these connections,
Race 5
(4) STATION THREEOHSIX seems like he should win way more often than he does but he may never find a softer spot to connect. (5) GLASS PRINCE is a shell of his former self but he still should be competitive here. (2) LITTLE MICHAEL B was much-improved last week.
Race 6
(2) ENVIOUS HANOVER had raced well with better than these in the past; veteran draws well and was Sears' choice. (5) VELOCITY VESPA had little to offer last week but he does drop in class for the leading driver/trainer combo. (6) ROYAL KNOCKOUT should be coming late for a share.
Race 7
(5) NARCIAN JEWEL hasn't fired with her best in quite some time; her effort three back wasn't bad and she should be a healthy price here. (2) BETTER SAID raced evenly last out from an outside post versus one notch better; player. (1) RD BILLIE is up in class despite not having won in a while but the Garcia-Herrera trainee is pretty sharp.
Race 8
(2) GLOW STICK flew home from nowhere last out when claimed and now she goes for another new barn tonight; sharp sort can be close from this inside post. (7) MCACE OF ARTS raced evenly last week versus better and now she drops in for a tag for a sharp outfit. (4) BABY REMIND ME also goes for another new barn tonight and Brian Sears knows her well.
Race 9
(5) LETTUCEROCKU A has been a million times better for his new barn and was loaded with pace winning last week; bump in class shouldn't be a problem. (4) FLEM N EM N lands in a better spot tonight and the veteran should show more. (6) ALL ARTIST picks up Bartlett for the Banca barn but he's got to show much more to take this.
Race 10
(2) BLADE SEELSTER has been much better recently and the veteran can maintain his good form off the Robertson claim. (1) MEETYOUATMIDNIGHT came from off the pace to score last out for his new connections and he's certainly capable of repeating. (8) BOLD AND BRAVE ships in off three razor-sharp wins at Philly but he may be done in by the eight hole.
Race 11
(7) BET THE MOON seemed like he waited too long to get going last week and the winner got away; a more aggressive steer can land him back in the winner's circle. (3) SPINARAMA is right back in for tag five days off a nice second-place finish; threat. (8) WESTERN YOUNG GUN blasted down the road beating the top choice easily in his debut off the Devita claim but now he's stuck in post eight.
Race 12
(8) SCOOTIN FOR JOY was overloaded with pace last week, made a big move past the slow half and was outgamed by a trip-sitter; tough post again tonight but that should make the price attractive. (5) BROWN BRINNY is up in class while very sharp looking for four straight. (1) ST KITTS lands the best post again but came up short last out at odds-on; use caution.
