Best Bet: SQUARE DANCER (8th)
Spot Play: HIGH COURAGE N (4th)
MEET STATS: 124 - 361 / $718.50
BEST BETS: 19 - 32 / $65.40
Race 1
(4) COPPER COAST A held pretty firm in his debut for new connections and he's certainly capable of repeating. (1) BOOGIEWOOGIEBRIAN hasn't been that bad of late and the rail draw will only help his cause; main threat. (3) GREYSTONE CASH still pops up with a good effort from time to time.
Race 2
(5) HERETIC FRANCO N has been a major underachiever since arriving in the U.S. but she does have a live move and will surprise eventually at a price. (3) LET HER ROCK was a winner when last at this basement level with Zeron driving. (1) NORTHERN DALI qualified effectively but may need a start or two; use underneath.
Race 3
(4) RD BILLIE could not sustain a two-move effort from the eight hole off the Banca claim; She gets needed post relief and Bartlett sticks. (1) UPFRONTWHOSURLADY has controlling speed and draws best. (2) WORLDLYDOLL will be sitting close up and can hold off the rest.
Race 4
(4) HIGH COURAGE N gets the needed combo of class and post relief; top billing. (5) MISTER TRUTH also takes a needed drop in class. (6) WESTERN DYNASTY ships from Philly off a good effort for the usually live Ryder barn.
Race 5
(3) TYLER THE TERROR returns locally from Pocono for an outfit that's popped a few winners here; he looks as good as any in this suspect field. (1) CHEYENNE JEFFREY returns to Bartlett and draws best but he did fail in a similar scenario at odds-on two back. (4) SOUTHWIND TERROR never gained but didn't lose ground in debut for new connections; consider for a share.
Race 6
(8) NARCIAN JEWEL was used hard last out, clearly fits with these and the tough outside post will help her price. (3) BROWN BRINNY was dead-game battling on the front end last week and can certainly repeat. (2) CANACO STAR was hung to dry by the former; classy veteran fits here.
Race 7
(4) CAVIART CATERINA can be a bit erratic at times but that was a big effort last week where she never saw the rail; she can repeat bumping up a notch. (3) BIG WHITE PEARL moves into this class from the conditioned ranks; not sure if this is easier but at least she picks up the leading driver. (1) WRAPPED TO GO had no chance from the eight hole in her debut off the Surick claim; clearly this is a better spot.
Race 8
(1) SQUARE DANCER broke leaving last out; give the Banca trainee another chance moving back inside. (6) KAMWOOD LAUGHTER N has been razor sharp in all recent starts with Allard. (3) HEY KOBE doesn't win often but she should land a share from this spot.
Race 9
(4) BLADE SEELSTER dropped and popped off the DiDomenico claim and he's been competitive at this 20K level in the past; consider using if the price is right. (2) ADDWATER draws well again off a win and can be considered the one to beat. (1) IM DRINKIN DOUBLES tripped out to win last and is a contender from the best post.
Race 10
(4) HANDS OFF FRANK wasn't awful off the Garcia-Herrera claim and he drops back in for a tag tonight; gelding can reach from this spot. (2) PAMS LEGACY goes for another new barn and the veteran certainly knows how to win. (1) R CAAN doesn't win as often as he should but he should land a share from this inside spot with the returning Brian Sears driving.
Race 11
(4) ONE THROUGH TEN battled bravely last out but bore out at the wire and was placed second; veteran should be heading to the front again. (2) WYNBERG COURAGE N has been very sharp and is capable of grinding a long way. (3) TWIN B SPEEDO drops in for a claiming tag tonight and we'll see how the Mark Ford trainee fits at this level.
Race 12
(2) MILLWOOD FAITH N hails from the Vallee barn which has been live recently and she should get a good stalking trip from this spot. (4) ST KITTS has been hard to fault recently but faces some more seasoned foes tonight; logical chalk. (3) KEENE OLIVIA returns locally and has fit well with this type in the past.
