Yonkers: Thursday 3/7 Analysis

Best Bet: LAUXMONT CAPRI (3rd)
Spot Play: AMANDEROSA (6th)
MEET STATS: 61 - 173 / $302.70 (-$43.30)
BEST BETS: 11 - 14 / $32.90 (+$4.90)
Race 1
(3) CODE MEISTER won rather comfortably on the front end last week off the Banca claim and he seems well-spotted to repeat; not much value, however, but he's clearly the most logical in here. (6) AN THE THUNDEROLLS has been decent in his last two and now debuts for Carmine Fusco off the claim, and that barn has been pretty live since returning. (4) N EXPENSE failed one notch up but he's back where he belongs.
Race 2
(3) INTEROVER raced very well at a big price last week to be second best to a standout winner and now the mare moves to the Allard barn; perhaps she's ready to post the mild upset here. (7) WHETHER OR NOT FI broke starting last out which put an end to his three-race win streak in this country; clearly the Toscano trainee is a major player if he behaves himself tonight. (5) MYSTICAL GRACE should be on the move early and that can land her a share.
Race 3
(2) LAUXMONT CAPRI has raced well here in the past and returns locally into a very soft spot and from a good inside post; lots to like. (3) TITUS SEELSTER was overhauled on the front end upon arrival; he should be close to the pace again, however. (7) GRAND MASTER gets Holland back, will be a big price and is capable of leaving the gate.
Race 4
(1) RIVER OTTER was used too hard early upon arrival and paid the price late; he could be a threat here with a softer trip. (4) GIRL TALK qualified reasonably well and these Garcia-Herrera trainees are usually good right off the bench. (5) GEMOLOGIST was a bit lacking last week in his seasonal debut but he could be tighter tonight.
Race 5
(5) BUGGER BRUISER was a no-threat second best to a longshot last week, his first start off the Banca claim; Bartlett should have him on the move early again in order to set up a live trip. (1) ER ROCK MY WORLD tried to bottom the field last out but was collared by a 70/1 shot; clearly he's the one to catch again. (6) LONE SURVIVOR could certainly use a better post but the veteran could be a late threat.
Race 6
(5) AMANDEROSA has been pretty good in her two seasonal starts and the mare usually offers decent value; worth a look. (2) FANCY CREEK JOLENE was Kakaley's choice returning locally from a solid try at The Meadowlands. (3) MORE THAN MANY has just been racing evenly of late but she's proven capable of better.
Race 7
(4) FREEZE OUT got away well back and was in an impossible spot in her last try; post relief and the switch back to Stratton could prove the difference. (3) STONEBRIDGE HONEY was second best at odds-on last week to a classy rival who ran away and hid. (5) ROYAL KNOCKOUT never seems to win but always comes away with money; include on your tickets.
Race 8
(4) WAVES OF FIRE A debuts for DiDomenico off the claim and drops back to the basement conditioned level while meeting some questionable foes; I suspect he'll take plenty of action here. (5) MARTY MONKHOUSER A fits well at this level and could be forwardly placed with Holland driving. (4) RUFO switches to the Carmine Fusco barn and could show some improvement.
Race 9
(1) VICTORY AT LAST has raced well here in the past with Bongiorno driving and the veteran is clearly the one to deny from this spot. (7) NATURAL LEDA was game in defeat last week; clearly he's a big player at this NW5000 level but the post hurts. (4) I'M A GIFT is a steady earner at this level.
Race 10
(4) DR DRAKE RAMORAY hasn't done a heck of a lot lately but he's been facing better and was a winner when last at this level. (1) THE LUNCH PAIL raced very well in his local return and is clearly a big threat here, but will also be overbet. (2) YS LOTUS moves back inside and usually gives a good accounting of himself from inside posts.
Race 11
(1) IMF was very stubborn in defeat last out and the mare figures to be the one to catch again. (6) PERLUCKY worked out a great trip and scored for Smedshammer, defeating the top choice in the process; clearly he's a threat to repeat. (2) LADY EAGLE has been a very steady performer of late and she's been behaving herself; include.
Race 12
(2) DREAM OUT LOUD N has looked much better in his last two and it seems the oldtimer still has some life left in those legs; worth a look in competitive finale. (4) TULLOW N is at his best one notch down but this feels like a good spot to get involved. (6) SAULSBROOK LANNY is an obvious player here from live connections but he may need some help from this post.
