Race 1
(2) PINEBUSHSEVEN has behaved herself since adding the hobbles and that effort at The Meadowlands wasn't bad; worth a look in this weak trotting opener. (3) PUMPING IRONY is another who has looked better with the addition of the trotting hobbles. (8) MAGIC N SPICE has a long way to come from the eight hole but he's halfway decent when he behaves himself.
Race 2
(5) MISTER TRUTH moves to another new barn off the claim (Surick) and he stays at a winning level; expect the veteran to be aggressive early. (2) MARCED MAGIC returns from Monticello in pretty good form and he has a post edge on his main rivals. (4) MANHATTAN BENNY debuts for Allard off the claim and is back in for the same tag but he's missed a bit of time.
Race 3
(7) KEENE OLIVIA dropped in for a tag last week and gave it a big try at a big price; she remains at the same level off the Banca claim and certainly seems worth a play. (6) SHESAIDHESAIDISAID has been right there in all but one 2019 start and the mare remains a big player. (5) SUCCESSFUL OUTLOOK showed some improvement last week passing tired ones and she gets a bit of post relief tonight.
Race 4
(3) WAR DADDY has raced well in some traffic in his last two and now goes for Banca off the claim while keeping Bartlett; to the front. (1) BIG TURN ON was also claimed out of last and usually represents himself well from inside posts. (2) AN THE THUNDEROLLS looks for two straight for the usually live Carmine Fusco barn.
Race 5
(5) OMAHA OMAHA is lightly-raced but did qualify very effectively for his new barn in preparation for his 2019 debut; could be ready at first asking. (4) PENNANT SEELSTER ships from The Meadowlands, was Bartlett's choice and should fit well here. (6) TAKE A WISH figures to be coming late.
Race 6
(1) NATURAL LEDA is an extremely camera-shy type but he may never find an easier spot. (3) MR HEAVEN raced well last out at The Big M and the Mann trainee was okay here in prior starts. (8) JOHNNY DISCO A was Siegelman's choice of four in here and has the talent but may be done in by the poor post.
Race 7
(3) HENDERSON SEELSTER has been VERY live in his last two and the Stafford trainee deserves a long look tonight. (5) SEVEN IRON has hit the board in his five races for new connections; problem here is the missed time off the sick scratch. (1) FASHION FOREVER rallied well last week and he was a winner from a similar spot two back; obvious player.
Race 8
(1) MILADY DENVER A gets an interesting barn change here, draws best and Bongiorno figures to be blasting down the road. (2) SUE'S NIGHT OUT also changes barns to Surick, draws well and Gingras picks up the drive. (6) ACEFORTYFOURAMANDA goes for Robertson off yet another claim and she was Bartlett's choice.
Race 9
(2) FAITHFUL DESIRE was stuck in traffic in his seasonal debut then got stuck in post eight; mare lands in a much better spot tonight and could be ready to roll. (3) LIVINGINTHEDREAM has been razor-sharp for Surick. (7) FILLY FORTY SEVEN was dead-game in victory last week and remains a threat for Harris/Bartlett despite the outside post.
Race 10
(2) WHETHER OR NOT FI is near-perfect since arriving in the U.S. with a miscue the only blemish; Toscano trainee is probably talented enough to handle the hike in class. (5) BROADWAY CREDIT hails from the always-hot Jenn Bongiorno barn and should be heard from at some point. (4) UNCLE LEO has been on quite a roll at Saratoga and takes a shot at Yonkers to race for more than three times the money.
Race 11
(3) BOINGANATOR has raced very well in his last four starts and returning to Bartlett can't hurt; trotter may be the best price of the contenders here in this wide-open affair. (4) JOEY BATS was a game uncovered winner last week at odds-on and is clearly a threat to repeat. (1) EXARCH gets needed post relief in his second seasonal start.
Race 12
(2) DREAMFAIR MESA has looked very sharp since moving to the Allard barn and he seems capable of handling the hike in class. (1) ALBERTO CONTADOR N hasn't done much recently but the class relief and the best post can get this veteran well in a hurry. (4) MIGHTY AMERICAN N raced decently last out and could hit the ticket with a smooth trip.
