Race 1
(4) COOL DESIRE seems to be the speed of the speed. Did tire in the stretch drive last out but this looks like a perfect spot for this mare to get the job done wire to window. (2) SHE SAID put in a mild rally for show money recently. (1) VORST raced evenly to hold on for show money last time around.
Race 2
(1) RIVIERA gets serious post relief and could top these if given a favorable trip. (4) FOX VALLEY BAILEY makes her return to Yonkers where she has done her best running. (2) DAUT FULL should do much better from the 2-hole; we shall see.
Race 3
(2) PAN FROM NANTUCKET was sent down the road last out for all the glory and she stays in same condition; two straight is clearly not out of the question. (1) NATIONAL DEBT has fine speed and draws the fence; main danger. (4) FOCUS POWER was on the lead most of the way but was caught at the wire in her latest.
Race 4
(1) HUNCHIE Gelding's last try should be an indication he is ready to fire his best and the good news is Brennan is keeping the faith. (4) HEEZ ORL BLACK N gets a better post to work with and he might get involved against these. (8) CARD SHOCK was second best in his last start; post hurts but is capable.
Race 5
(2) TOO DARN HOT Dover invader has done well so far this year and has tactical speed; gets the call. (5) BADIX HANOVER did not fire in his Jersey finale but could do better on the half-mile oval. (1) SAMMY THE BULL N closed well to miss the victory by a length; watch out.
Race 6
(8) SCOOTIN FOR JOY gets a tough draw but she fits well against this group and might get good post position and mow them down just like she did on February 7th. (2) QUICK AINT FAIR has wheeled off two straight victories and now she moves up the ladder; player. (6) GROUNDED is knocking at the door based on her last two tries; not out of this.
Race 7
(4) CLASSY LANE ROSE showed signs of life last out and this 5-year-old miss is very capable of making a quick turnaround. (1) NEW YORK KITTY rallied strongly to nail down the victory in her latest; threat again. (5) BETTER SAID wire to wire score last out at Saratoga and this pacing mare must be considered in all the exotic slots.
Race 8
(1) SWEETNSINFUL is very consistent taking her 2nd score of the year last time around and she moves to the rail; clearly she is the one to deny. (4) KAMWOOD LAUGHTER N is on fire scoring her fourth straight victory; main danger. (7) MADE OF JEWELS AS has hit the board in her last five tries; can be a factor in here despite the move to door number seven.
Race 9
(7) ALL ARTIST has been sharp in his last two starts and he might be ready to take these to task for all the cash. (5) TRIPLE SEELSTER has put two game efforts and gelding appears to be a big threat with Brennan at the helm. (1) R CAAN was second best in his last trip to the post and he should be right in the mix from the fence.
Race 10
(2) REAL FLIGHT closed well to grab the placing last time out and this gelding seems to be rounding back to winning form; the pick. (1) MAINLAND KEY N has good speed and should be a handful from the rail; dangerous. (4) SIR JACK had a mild rally for third money in his first attempt at the Hilltop last out.
Race 11
(6) CANACO STAR gets out of the 7-hole in hopes to return to her fast closing victory on January 26th; quite possible. (4) GO FOR SAND was late on the scene to run them all down in her recent outing; threat for the repeat. (5) MYSTICAL NECTAR is another that has good late punch missing glory by a length; beware.
