Race 1
(1) SCARLET CHASER has just one win over the last two seasons but he hasn't been awful recently and he draws best in a pretty weak field of bottom-level claimers. (3) MISTER ACCUMULATOR took similar down the road last week to get off the seasonal schneid and is certainly capable of repeating. (5) ROCK POWER has gone back-to-back tough trips in his last two with mixed results; does he have enough early speed to get involved early?
Race 2
(3) ACEFORTYFOURAMANDA has been right there in her last three including last week's solid first-up win; sharp sort can take another. (2) WINDY SPORT has early speed and a good draw for the improving Troy Beyer, who has some catch drives for the good Garcia-Herrera barn; mare should be close up throughout. (1) SWEET YOU had a bit of stretch traffic last week and gets major post relief tonight.
Race 3
(5) GOOD DAY MATE has back class and has been improved recently with a catch-driver; Marohn Jr. drives tonight and he could offer a reasonable price. (1) BONDI HANOVER certainly is the most logical here but will also be overbet. (3) I'M A GIFT is capable at this level with the right trip.
Race 4
(3) BALI had no chance last week but wasn't bad the start prior from an inside post; Allard trainee clearly seems overdue. (6) SPEAKING OUT turned things around in last with a sharp closing effort; big threat if he can repeat that performance. (4) MACH ONE flattened when it counted last week but overall his form has been good.
Race 5
(2) VINTAGE BABE finds a soft spot here and should be able to turn things around. (1) FIRSTUP gained some confidence out of town jogging against lesser and she should be in line for a live trip from this spot. (4) DEUCES FOR CHARITY doesn't win that often but she's capable of landing a share with this type with a smooth trip.
Race 6
(2) JAG OUT is having a rough season but I expect eventually she will turn it around; classy mare could take these coast-to-coast. (4) OCEANIA didn't fire her best off cover versus a notch better last out but she gets some needed post relief and does have a big late kick. (7) INTOVIEW has taken six straight for Garcia-Herrera and is an obvious threat here despite the post.
Race 7
(1) PARKLANE EAGLE dropped and popped last week; he's back up in class tonight but he draws best again while facing some questionable foes. (5) THE LUNCH PAIL is supposed to beat these but it's always tough to take a short price on this one. (6) DR DRAKE RAMORAY may be tailing off a bit but he is capable with this type.
Race 8
(1) VANQUISHED N was a game front-end winner when last at this level for Vallee and obviously drawing the best post helps his cause. (4) REAL LUCKY N needed that last start at Monticello. Is the import ready to fire his best shot? I don't want to take a short price to find out. (3) MARINER SEELSTER was a bit better last out and could save ground for a minor share.
Race 9
(2) BETTOR'S PROMISE moves back inside and his last three efforts from similar spots were solid; he'll offer a better price than (1) SPORTY SPOOK A, who stays at the same level off a nice win, moves inside, and is clearly the one to beat. (6) PROVEN DESIRE fits with these, just needs to get involved earlier.
Race 10
(3) LUCIANO N took some money last week and didn't race that badly; Stratton should have this gelding forwardly placed off the gate in this suspect field. (6) SEVENS HOPE A has raced well here in the past and can offer some value from this spot. (1) DOJEA SOLO has speed and the rail; good combo.
