Race 1
(1) SHADY STELLA moves back inside and she catches a weak group. She should be well positioned to get the job done. (4) BELLA RAGAZA was quite game in her Freehold finale and she appears to be a threat in here. (2) AMERICAN IMAGE put in a good qualifier at Freehold on 1-4, so she can be right in the mix with these.
Race 2
Philly invader (3) RAISING KERCKHAERT seems to be knocking at the door based on his last two tries. He was facing NW3 there, so this condition puts him right in the ballpark with these. (1) DESTAROFNIGHT gets serious post relief and that should help her cause. (6) DRUM HANOVER will need a better trip in order for him to make an impact.
Race 3
(1) A CRAFTY LADY leaves the open ranks and she should be able to use her tactical speed to her best advantage; the one to deny. (4) VELOCITY LAYLA flashed speed against better at the Meadowlands last out, so she does fit well in here. (3) BIG LIS showed signs of life in her last trip at Freehold.
Race 4
(5) FIRST CLASS ACT moves back to the mile distance and she has the speed. If she can control the tempo, she has a license to steal this. (1) SEVEN KNIGHTS has been quite consistent in his last three outings and he now draws the rail; consider. (3) CREDIT FRAUD has three consecutive second-place finishes and merits respect.
Race 5
(1) AN THE THUNDEROLLS did not fire in her Meadowlands finale, but now he moves back to the half-mile oval where he has the most success; looms very tough here. (4) SEELEY MAN showed nothing at Philly. The move back to Yonkers might be what he needs to contend with these. (5) ROCKIN RAMBARAN could have a say if he is able to get a favorable trip.
Race 6
(5) PRINCE OF POPS N moves down the ladder and has the positional speed to work out an ideal stalking trip; the pick with Brennan at the helm. (6) ROOSTER RABBIT just got up for win honors in his last start upstate; consider. (3) HE CAN FLY N will need to revert to his 12-21 start in order for him to be a contender; possible.
Race 7
(5) BROADWAY BRUISER did not fire in his last two starts at the Big M, but trotter might find this group to his liking; using. (3) WORTHYOURATTENTION was sent down the road in her Philly finale for all the glory. She is capable of repeating off her last victory and gets the services of Bartlett; big threat. (1) DIRECT ROUTE moves back to the fence where he was a game second three starts ago.
Race 8
(2) LONE SURVIVOR closed well in his last try from door number six and now he moves to the 2-hole. He has every right to mow these down and greet the camera operator for pictures. (7) RURAL ART has been sharp in his last three trips to the post. He doesn't get the luck of the draw, but based on his excellent form he is very capable. (4) JOE HILL was third best in his last start at Philly; worth consideration.
Race 9
(4) CLIVE BIGSBY seems to be heading in the right direction and he does have speed or he can rate and make one run; gets the call. (3) BANDOL ROSE took charge at the half on her way to an easy victory at Philly last out; main danger. (5) TROPICAL SPLASH AS makes his return to Yonkers and it is good to see Brennan at the controls; not out of this.
Race 10
Trotting gelding (3) MEADOWBRANCH RICKY is clearly knocking at the door based on his two consecutive second place finishes and he should appreciate the inside draw. (1) COASTAL REGION has wheeled off three straight victories and he should be dangerous from the rail despite the rise in class. (6) KINDA LUCKY LINDY raced evenly for third money in his last try; could be right in the mix.
Race 11
(3) FILLY FORTY SEVEN has done quite well in her last two tries at the Meadowlands. Pacing mare is capable of getting the job done if she can get a favorable trip. (6) THE SPINSTER N just missed the victory in her Meadowlands finale; big factor. (1) MISS IRISH ROSE A gets serious post relief and that should help her cause.
