(1) AMERICAN ALIVE has picked up a slew of checks lately and this mare is clearly knocking at the door. Can boss these from the rail. (2) GLAMORGAL was sharp in victory last time out and stays at same level; factor again. (3) ACEFORTYFOURAMANDA raced well from the 8-hole last time around, so this gal must be considered in the exotic picture.
Race 2
(2) NORTHERN DALI flashed good speed in her recent outing. Has every right to get the job done if she gets a favorable trip. (1) SHESGOTTHEBEAT should be right in the thick of it with the better post tonight. (4) BARBIE HANOVER was third best as the favorite in her latest; could have a say in the outcome.
Race 3
(2) YO CHEYENNE ROCKY put in two solid efforts, so he is heading in the right direction; the pick. (4) TALK SHOW just held on for win honors in his last try; must be respected. (7) GO COLLECT N was sent down the road in his Freehold finale for all the glory; watch out.
Race 4
(4) BIG TURN ON came outside at the 3/4 pole and never looked back for the score. Gelding is capable of taking another one with Brennan at the controls. (5) DIRTY DEVIL could not get to the top pick last out, but he could contend with this group. (3) BETTOR REASON N has some early zip, but will need a better trip to make an impact with these; possible.
Race 5
(4) BRUNELLO N showed signs of life in his latest at Harrington and this gelding catches a weak group. Can make tonight a winning one with a well-judged drive from Brennan. (3) UF LARRY ALLTHEWAY leaves Philly for the half-mile oval and could be right in the mix with comfortable trip. (2) SEVENS HOPE A gets post relief and that might help his cause; we shall see.
Race 6
(1) R CAAN drops a notch in class and moves to door number one. Reunites with Sears who has a win with this veteran; gets the call. (2) COPPER COAST A was sent down the road in his last start for the victory; dangerous. (4) REAL KID did not fire from the 8-hole last time around, but he is capable of putting in a better effort from the 4-hole; don't overlook.
Race 7
(3) GALACTIC GALLEON N moves down the ladder for this event and that might be what he needs to make his return to the winner's circle; player. (1) ESCAPE THE NEWS is clearly knocking at the door. Gelding appears to be a big threat in here. (2) SWEET RIDE was on the lead most of the way, but was nailed for win honors in deep stretch in his latest; not out of this.
Race 8
(2) DO YOUR JOB is back at Yonkers where this mare has seen more success. With a comfortable trip, she can make tonight a winning one. (3) ROCK MY WORLD took charge at the 3/4 marker and took home top prize by a length last out; must be respected. (5) VEGAS IN STYLE came up the fence for the win in his Philly finale and this mare must not be counted out of this given her win record this year.
Race 9
(3) SOHO LENNON A did not have the best of trips last out, but the good news is he leaves the 7-hole for a cozy slot. So if the right trip comes his way, the rest will have to settle for minor awards. (2) MY MIND IS MADEUP led every step of the way last time around at Plainridge. Gelding clearly fits with well in here; big threat. (1) ELWELL moves back to the fence, where this gelding's last win was from the rail four trips ago; don't overlook.
Race 10
(1) PAN OF STEEL gets the best of the draw, plus he does have a good late punch. If he's at his best, gelding could mow them down. (2) TENACIOUS ONE A has been in the exacta picture in his last five tries; must be considered. (3) PASS THEM BY N posted two good efforts in a row and that puts this veteran right in the mix with these; factor.
Race 11
(2) WESTERN YOUNG GUN has good speed and is on the drop-down. With the right trip, he can greet the cameraman for pictures. (1) WESTERN ROCKSTAR A gets serious post relief and that might help his cause; maybe. (4) PANCHESTER UNITED was on the engine most of the way but was nailed for glory in his last start; beware.
Race 12
(4) PIERCE put in a good run in his last trip to the post and this gelding has every right to put his best foot forward. (1) HEEZ ORL BLACK N went down the road in his last try and now moves to the fence seeking his second straight score; capable. (6) LETTUCEROCKTHEM A was sharp in the pocket but could not get to The Rev in his last start; must be respected.
