Race 1
(1) NORTHERN CREDIT behaved himself last week and went down the road easily holding his only challenger at bay; he can repeat from this spot. (5) THE LIONKING AS was second best to the top one and they may go one-two around the track again. (2) LUCKY SHEILA added hobbles last week and won easily at Freehold.
Race 2
(4) VERSACHET picked up a major driver change to Stratton last week and responded accordingly with a big move and an easy win; he has tactical options from this good starting spot and I'm sticking with him in this lucrative series final. (8) URSIS DES CAILLONS has been the most impressive of the French imports but he has the eight hole here and Bongiorno will have to use him early to get position or risk being too far back; will he be vulnerable late? (5) BARRY BLACK was uncovered a long way in last and took last week off; he's shown ability and could be a healthy price.
Race 3
(9) KINETIC KING has proven to be a good fit with this type and he qualified back well off the brief layoff; Harmon trainee could be the freshest one late. (3) DW'S NY YANK never got involved last week in that fast mile but he gets to drop down today and he is loaded with back class. (5) LILY'S SWAN POND held gamely for second last week after being run over by the winner.
Race 4
In a tough race to figure, (5) CR BLAZIN BEAUTY trotted evenly at this level last week, now moves in a couple of spots and she may be set up well from this midpack post. (4) PLATOON SEELSTER rallied belatedly upon dropping back to this class and he can be closer today. (2) DEKEYSER was rather dull in his last Yonkers appearance but he did jog versus lesser at Freehold.
Race 5
(1) DELCREST MASSY may have been forced to move a bit early last out then faltered on the front end; he may be able to rebound today from slightly off the pace. (2) JACKS TO OPEN was a winner from a similar spot six back. (7) KENNEL BUDDY was also a winner when last at this level and he could be considered at a good price.
Race 6
(5) FASHION CREDITOR may need a bit of help having landed outside his main competition but he's capable with this type and should offer the best price of the contenders. (3) BOFFIN has missed a bit of time but has loads of talent; Bartlett drives. (1) BLUEBIRD JESSE raced okay in his last two at this level.
Race 7
(4) STRIKING ENCORE was a good second last week to a big favorite upon arrival from Indiana and she can take the next logical step today. (1) KONNICHIWA returns to Sears, has good speed and draws best. (6) MR QUAKER also invaded from the Indiana fair circuit last week and acclimated well for live connections.
Race 8
(2) ROSE RUN SYDNEY was very good last week but the leader failed to carry her to the lane and she had to settle for second; mare should be forwardly placed again and seems to have a major chance. (3) OBRIGADO was given a cozy post to work with in his local return and got the job done again; he gets another nice spot today and is obviously capable of repeating. (6) NF HAPPENSTANCE blew away cheaper last week and I'm not sure if the mare deserves to be banished to the outside post but she has the early speed to overcome the handicap.
Race 9
(2) YES MICKEY pretty much gets a free ride today and the Svanstedt trainee should jog. (6) PRICELESSPOSSESION tired a bit last week but her prior efforts were good and she could spice up the exotics. (3) SWAN FOREVER has raced better in his last couple with hobbles added.
Race 10
(1) PERFECT BET failed to get into it from the eight hole last week but his prior start versus lesser was an impressive win; chance here with the post relief. (6) SHNEONUCRZYDIAMND A may be in a better spot today to get more involved. (5) ELWELL was very wide for quite a ways in a strange race last out and still was close at the wire; player.
