Best Bet: IM THE MUSCLE (7th) Spot Play: EXPLOSIVE RIDGE (10th) MEET STATS: 341 - 950 / $1,921.60 BEST BETS: 47 - 81 / $156.60 Race 1 (2) DELCREST MASSY showed plenty of vigor in that qualifier last week and he was Bartlett's choice over two other live ones. (9) MUSCLE AVE was totally empty last week but that was against better; he's been right there in his last three races at this level. (1) DARK POOL has come back sharp off the layoff and he looks for two straight. Race 2 (1) URSIS DES CAILLONS took all the of the money and did not disappoint as he was an open-lengths winner in round one of this series for Team Bongiorno; he may well be favored again here in this 1 1/2 mile event. (2) BARRY BLACK went a long, game trip in defeat last week and that's three straight solid efforts. (6) ALPHA D'URZY tasted defeat for the first time in the U.S. last week after  losing cover and grinding a long way; let's see if he can rebound. Race 3 (7) DEO has won two races already when teamed with Brennan and it may have been three if not for a late break in one of those races; post is tough but the added-distance may help. (6) UHLAN NOIR had pretty good speed at both ends of his race last week. (5) VERSACHET makes his debut off a few decent qualifiers and he may be overlooked here with his unknown pilot. Race 4 (5) SHOWMEYOURGUNS is facing a bit better off a loss but he's more than capable with these when in the mood and he should be a decent price. (2) STAR STUDDED CAST was reclaimed by Allard last out but he's missed a couple of weeks. (4) WINNERESS shows a big win at this level and this distance a few back. Race 5 (1) DIZZY RIZZY looks ready to go off those qualifiers and the Surick trainee has won here a couple of times in the past. (4) GLOBAL REVOLUTION finished with good energy from a tough spot last week. (5) SEXY P V gets Bartlett back in the bike and she's capable of better. Race 6 (1) QB KEMP ships from Ohio, lands in the Harmon barn and draws best in a pretty forgettable race. (2) SEVEN KNIGHTS has good speed but needs to show more late. (3) LUCKY SHEILA did break here two back but raced very well last out at Pocono. Race 7 (4) IM THE MUSCLE has taken his last three in very easy fashion and is clearly the one to beat here. (6) CHASIN' DREAMS certainly didn't disgrace himself recently in the NYSS and he looks like the main threat. (5) MIDNIGHT EXPRESS S tries Brennan today for the Svanstedt barn and he figures to be on the move early. Race 8 (6) BLUEBIRD JESSE hasn't been at his absolute sharpest recently but those were some tough ones he was in against last week; DiDomenico trainee may offer the best price of the contenders. (3) CRAZY ABOUT PAT has plenty of class and must be considered. (1) AMELIOSI does have early speed at her disposal from the best draw. Race 9 (6) MAXUS has been slow to get underway this season but he picks up a big driver change to MacDonald and the Takter charge should be primed for a better effort. (3) KONNICHIWA was very stubborn in defeat last week. (2) BEATRICE rallied for second last week and could hit the ticket again from this spot. Race 10 (5) EXPLOSIVE RIDGE has looked very good since shipping in and moving to the Banca barn; trotter is reunited with Bartlett today from a better post. (6) PRICELESSPOSSESION has been solid recently for Abbatiello yet still may offer some value from this spot. (3) BEACH CREDIT had no visible excuse last week; use caution. Race 11 (2) OBRIGADO was in a tough spot last week in that stakes event at Tioga but prior to that he was showing good strides in returning to top form; he's almost comically assigned post two here and should be set for a big effort. (5) SUCH AN ANGEL has a tough trip last out in that oversized field; this is a better spot. (6) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN has been razor-sharp for an extended period of time and he does win the 'outside' draw. Race 12 (1) RUBBER DUCK was a strong winner here two back versus similar and he's clearly the one to beat in the finale. (6) BUEN CAMINO is way overdue and he could be overlooked in the wagering with Abbatiello getting the catch drive. (3) JACKS TO OPEN finally gets a better post to work with.
